We had a broken Venetian Blind and a broken Roman blind that needed repairing. Two people arrived from this company. They were very pleasant and made the repairs quickly, effectively and without any addition to the call-out charge. It was exactly what we hoped for.

I had seen the store on my commute to work, and since I prefer to support small independent businesses, I decided to visit them to see if I could order from them. Lovely Company. They came and quoted for Shutters and Blinds for us. We’re very happy to just supply the shutters initially and when we called a few months later about the blinds too they honoured the initial quote.Both the measuring visit and fitting one were done by really nice people and I have recommended them several times to friends.

After shopping around for new venetian blinds we settled on this little shop in Lewes Road and was so impressed. Everyone was polite and friendly. This mighty “SUSSEX” curtain company doesn’t do net curtains which is a disappointment if you’re very busy and expect this “curtain” shop to meet all of your curtain needs. Customer service is more like trying to get rid of you instead of trying to sell something. They don’t do any ready-to-go curtains in stock, nor they have any means to cut your curtains to size. Everything must be ordered weeks ahead, couldn’t even tell me rough waiting time or rough average price to give me an idea how much I’m looking at- £70,- per window or £700,- and don’t forget to make an appointment at least a week before if you even want to place an order and to start your undefined weeks of waiting. That’s if you can even fit your 9-5 schedule into their opening times. I honestly expected to at least get net curtains with some weights in them with a line or rail today to cover my window up to the size I told them, and secondly, to order or at least have a look at big curtains, find out the price and maybe to order them. Got absolutely nothing. Bye

Shoddy job on fitting an expensive Velux blind. Never looked right after slapdash fitting and despite being rarely used it failed 2.5 years later and told no refund, replacement or apology. Will never use this company again. It’s a disgrace they use the word ‘Sussex’ in their company name. Not worthy. Avoid this firm. Charlatans.
