Beautiful space that’s been developed in different ways over the last 40 years. Lots of new trees being planted now and whatever the weather always stunning views.

Just wish the grass was cut like it was in the past.. now Its long and looks a mess. I understand keeping some areas for wildlife" but I'm afraid the ant hills and dog mess in the long grass let's the whole place down. Then the path situation is a long standing joke.. gravel on hills never work with rain water.Let's stop cost cutting council tax goes up year on year and the way the place looks it never gets a penny."

Took my 18 week puppy on the park. A bit over grown but dog owners mainly friendly. Good paths around.

Cute little spot for a short walk / dog walk / a bit of peace. There is a basketball court, but no children's play area, so those with children may wish to consider this. Clear views of Gedling Country Park, sunrises, sunsets, and lots of bats at dusk! Can often hear an owl or two, but haven't been lucky enough to spot one yet. Quite clean and well looked after. Hundreds of saplings have been planted so there will be lots more trees soon. Muddy at times and steep in small places, so just keep this in mind in wet weather.

Digby Park (adjacent to Mapperley Golf Course) and is a really lovely green space with expansive views across to Gedling Country Park. There isn't much in the way of facilities (bar a few benches and a basketball court), but this makes for a tranquil space right on the doorstep of Mapperley Plains. A hidden little gem.
