It was great visit but busy place with bbq everywhere. There is no dedicated places for bbq. You can do anywhere. It has plenty of chargeable parking. Overall good day out.

Absolutely stunning.Make sure if you're walking around that you have plenty of time to get back to the carpark as you will get locked in!You can walk around the entire reservoir but beware it's a very big undertaking!Small church is beautiful, sheep friendly and always clean and well kept!

Nice place but they clearly do not want motorcyclist to visit. Bikers must pay for parking just as cars... And then there is not even a decent place to park... Whole area is loose gravel. Would expect better from the place like this unless again ... They just try to say no to bikers.... Thanks Rutland Water not visiting again

If you are tired of busy days and nights and want to relax then this is the place to go. Nice green and calm. Quite wide area for kids to play walk everything

We loved this beach and park! It was very clean & a great chilled vibe.I loved that they had life guards next to the beach area this gave me peace of mind.Brilliant place for a family outing and bbq.

The beach is sandy with shallow water that is great for young children. Unfortunately there is a strong cloying smell of manure - other people seemed not to be bothered by this but my children were retching initially. It put me off my sandwiches. The lifeguards shrugged and said it was “the fields”. Made me worry what run off was in the water and put me off swimming. We left early because it was so unpleasant.

Great place for a picnic/BBQ and long walks, stunning views especially in the evening with sun going down and less people makes it worthwhile visit.

Great day out cycling and spending time with my son. Very friendly people about and loads to do. Could easily spend a few hours down there each time I go.
