The famous bouncy bridge over the Taff! If it's busy when you're crosssing it, keep to the left and keep moving as it's a skinny bridge, and these are the COVID-19 measures for now.

Even though the bridge is a bit off, at the north side of the Bute park, the views are nice and worth the effort to walk up there. The level change of the Taff's river on this point creates extremely beautiful views, especially when the sun sets, on a sunny day. The bridge is a bit bumpy and can surprise you, especially when a runner cross it when you are walking, but don't afraid.

Went out for a Bank holiday walk came to Black wier in Cardiff. Built in the 1980s by engineering students from Cardiff University, the suspension footbridge gives a well-used route across the River Taff between Bute Park and Pontcanna Fields. Im in every picture i post post can you spot me in this one.

Lovely spot to see the world go by. The sound of the river and Cardiff out for a stroll.The bridge bounces a lot so some pets and toddlers may have to take extra care especially as not all cyclists are respectful of pedestrians.The weir below is pretty in the sunlight despite all the concrete. I was hopinh the revamped Fish pass would be easier on the eye. How about commissioning some local interest designs or sculptures on it. I would volunteer to do some.

Absolutely amazing. We visited after heavy rainfall and the water was furious and in its full glory. I would definitely recommend a visit
