Peaceful area in city centre surrounded with historical buildings and a handful of graves dateing back to the eighteenth century

Curiously named wee garden opposite The Potteries Museum and surrounded by some truly wonderful architectural buildings. Dotted with plinth-like memorial tombstones, so presumably forgotten old cemetery of Bethesda church, the circular rump of the church backs onto this greenspace. There are a ring of metal benches for sitting and a statue of a mother and child, a tyre clock, a metal war memorial, and a Wellington Boot chair.Obviously used predominantly as a shortcut. However, I was drawn in by the writing on the wall - MERCIAN RAIN GOD LAUGHTER - otherwise I may well have missed this wee gem of green.
