Not little for long photography

Melanie made beautiful photos of our daughter, my husband and I. Everything went so smoothly and easy, 1 week post partum with a newborn, I thought it will be so difficult, but she made it really comfortable and we got amazing memories as a result, I would definitely recommend having her as your newborn photographer.

Mel is an absolutely amazing photographer! We had a newborn photo shoot at home with our son (and it was also the first ever shoot any of us have ever done - me and my partner are pretty camera shy!). She made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, and she captured the most beautiful shots of our little boy that we will treasure forever. (Added bonus - the choice of outfits Mel bought along for us to put our little one in for the shoot - they were super cute!)

Mel is a wonderful photographer. We had such a special session today shooting our one week old daughter in the comfort of our own home. Mel provided beautiful outfits for me and baby. My partner and I loved the group shots. Mel never made us feel rushed and our baby adored her. She knew all the tricks to make her relax and the photos we saw a preview of were stunning & very natural. Thank you Mel - our new family photographer :-)

There are so many newborn photographers out there but Mel from notlittleforlong stood out from the rest. I love the style and mood of her photos so I wanted her to be the one to shoot memories of our family!Mel made us feel very comfortable in her studio home and she has such a lovely manner that we instantly felt relaxed and it was not awkward at all.The best part was of course was seeing the photos and we loved all of them so much. She has created beautiful memories of my two little girls (2yrs, 12 weeks) and we would love to do it all over again when the girls are older and make more wonderful memories together.Thank you Mel, you are so talented! Mel is a magician! I feel so lucky to have met Mel and have her shoot my maternity photos and then a family session with my entire extended family. We had a phenomenal experience with Mel for a family photo session at our home! She was wonderful with our children, listened to our ideas and improved upon them, and gave us some amazing family photos in the end! Lovely person and talented photographer! We cannot recommend her enough!

I wish I could give 6 stars! We had 2 photo shoots with Mel, and have another one scheduled. She is amazing - she makes you feel so comfortable, and has a true gift to capture life's beautiful moments - whether you're dealing with gale force winds on a beach or a wiggly baby in your living room, the images are PERFECTION and the experience is so enjoyable. I cannot recommend Mel highly enough.Anyone considering a family phot shoot will not be let down. I was also amazed at how quick the shoots could be, Mel was not in a rush of course, (we even did a few bonus shots with my parents, we could have spent all day with her!), but most impressively she was able to work within our natural rhythm to capture everything beautifully without displacing our little one. I've heard of nightmare, exhausting, 6 hour baby photo shoots from friends, that's not necessary with Mel, her style is comfortable and natural - a true gift with newborns!!!
