Glyn Hopkin MG Romford

After driving my 'old banger' for many years, it was finally time for me to change my vehicle. I wanted to avoid walking into a showroom after all the dodgy stories I had read over the years. I am happy to say that after my experience at Glyn Hopkins and having a lovely lady, Karen, assisting me in purchasing my new vehicle, I can say those negative thoughts about car dealerships are no longer there. Hello new car!

Avoid at all cost, ordered my car and was told there was a 16 week wait, had no communication from them at all for the next 16 weeks, was contacted with a query and asked if I’d made an application at a different dealership then told me there was a problem, avoided all my calls for the next 2 weeks and I had no idea where my car was or if I was even going to get it. My car had been sent to the wrong dealership, was told to collect my car, than told it wasn’t ready, was told to collect again then not available again eventually had it delivered with the petrol light on, they refused to fill with petrol, made a complaint and all I was told was sorry, since having my car not one person has contacted me to ask if I’m happy or if everything is ok with the car.This is a motability car an id hoped I would have had a better experience,Never would go there again or even recommend them.

Excellent service from Akeem King at MG Romford. Kept me informed throughout. The car delivery was delayed a bit but can't fault the staff. They have been very helpful throughout.

I bought my MG ZS from this branch on 10th November 2023. I want to emphasise Akeem’s great interpersonal skills. He made us feel very welcome and he kept in touch with us after our first visit which was very important because it enabled us to come back again. He was persuasive and displayed good communication skills assuring us that he will support us to find the right vehicle, he did exactly that and I couldn’t be more happy! And on our second visit, we actually paid a deposit on a vehicle, I must say I had visited another branch and quite a few other motor dealers, but Akeem’s professionalism and personality definitely won us over and I am so pleased that I went with Glyn Hopkins Romford branch. The overall atmosphere with the employees of this branch seems quite inviting and welcoming. I would highly recommend this branch, and once again a huge thank you to Akeem for being a great representative of this company, you are indeed an asset, thank you for providing us with sufficient information to help us make what was a difficult/important decision. The worst place u can buy your car from & the worst service u can expect. I asked for the manager and he said his name was mickey mouse" .For a brand new car making noise they wanted to charge me 168£ to look into it .The Director "Paul Suzzi" you must look into this Management cause this is not how the customer service behaves neither the management should work ."

salesman Akeem was brilliant with his service, i purchased an MG recently and he was prompt with his responses and patient with me during this process, even on his day off he had the curtesy to send me an e-mail, which I've never experienced that before. highly recommend this branch everyone is super friendly and especially Akeem.
