Gee Wiz Launderette

The cleanest and tidiest laundrette I have ever been to. Machines are easy to use however if you get stuck - it is staffed most days. Please note that you will need coins (£1,£2, 50p). If the laundrette is staffed (I think Monday - Saturday), they can do the change for you, but you will need cash. They also do service wash (although I haven't tried - I always do self service). Prices are reasonable. To dry a large load of towels/bedding it usually costs me circa £3.

My wife and I visit this launderette on a regular basis in the winter time to dry our washed clothes and they are first class, very clean and very modern. Our only regret is they are not nearer to our home in Woodley.

Had to wash a superking duvet so grabbed everything else that needed washing and came here. Very clean and lovely staff. You need £2, £1 and 50p so take plenty if going during unmanned times. Will definitely use again.

Nice place very clean... nice environment thanks to staff and customers.... two dedicated parking spaces but ample parking on the road too... cheap for dryers I use those all winter as I don't have a dryer... the cost of leaving washing is very reasonable too and they even have a stack of recent magazines to read while you wait

Great service, not expensive, unsure of the name of the lady that helped me but having never used a launderette before she was very helpful.

I have been using this laundrette all winter for drying my clothes, but it turns out that they don’t like it if you only use the dryers. Well I own a washing machine so have no need to use their washing machines. I witnessed a nasty exchange today between what I can only assume to be two regular customers (I think they were female but it was hard to tell) and a new customer (an older gentleman). The regular customer was extremely rude and aggressive just because the old man dared to ask why she needed to use 4 dryers all at once. He got told to “shut up” etc. I sympathised with him. I think I might have made a faux pas as well by daring to use a dryer without having used a washing machine. Then a staff member came out and had a go at the old man as well. She said that there were “rules in this laundrette” and pointed to a little sign above one of the dryers.I won’t be using this laundrette again. I didn’t like the way the man was treated, I thought it was horrible and I felt so bad for him. What a nasty way to be treated as a customer.
