Bobby has been teaching my daughter for a number of years now. The confidence and joy she gets from lessons and being able to play is wonderful. I can't recommend him highly enough.

My 11yo daughter has been going to Bobby for weekly lessons for the last couple of years, and to say her piano playing has rocketed in that time would be an understatement.She absolutely loves her lessons with Bobby, he has a unique teaching style and really manages to keep it fun, creative and tailored to the individual. We have had a few previous teachers, and they do not compare - Bobby is a legend at what he does! :)

Bobby is an excellent teacher and musician. My son has learnt from absolute beginner through to playing with confidence and skill rapidly. The lessons are fun and Jake loves going to learn the next thing. Definitely recommended!

Bobby teaches our three children aged 14, 12 and 7, and it’s testimony to him that all three love him and all three are keen to practise and show us what they are learning. He is fun, adaptable and a brilliant musician. I cannot rate him highly enough.

Bobby has been teaching my 6 year old over the last 3 months, as you imagine trying to hold a 6yr olds attention can be tricky, Bobby has managed this where I have failed, she throughly enjoys her hour 1:1 seasons with him. He is very calm and patient with her and she’s come on leaps and bounds with her piano playing. Would definitely recommend Bobby for anyone trying to learn.

I am a complete beginner, don't read music and I'm not young. Bobby is very patient with me and provides me with helpful advice and practical assistance. At the same time, I have observed him with other students, again young and old and he gives everyone the same amount of time and encouragement. If this is something you have always wanted to do, but had something holding you back, I would suggest you give it a try. As slow as I am, I love it and it gives me a great sense of happiness.

One thing I really appreciate about Bobby is their flexibility and willingness to adapt the lesson to my needs and interests. Bobby takes the time to ask me about my goals and what I want to learn, and then structure the lesson around those objectives. Whether I want to focus on classical pieces, pop songs, or improvisation, they are always prepared with engaging and challenging exercises.

Bobby has been teaching my son for a few years now. He started with the keyboard then progressed on to the organ. Bobby is an amazing teacher and really pushed my son to be the best that he can on both instruments.

I have been having my piano lessons with Bobby for over a year now and I am very impressed with the results. Lessons are fun, easy going and informative and I have learnt to confidently play several music pieces with no previous music experience. Bobby has a great academic background in music as well as a lot of real life playing and teaching experience and he is very professional in his approach to the whole learning process. I can definitely recommend Sussex Keyboard Lessons to everyone willing to learn how to play!
