Sytner Cardiff BMW

We bought a brand new 2 Series in April 2022. Within the first year both headlights required replacement. We traveled to Sytner Cardiff on a few occasions to get these issues resolved. As we live 20 miles from the dealership this can be very difficult with work commitments etc. We were eventually told the work was complete in May 2023 and both headlights had been replaced….great.October 2023, the passenger headlight has condensation once again, so 3 BMW headlights have failed within 18 months of purchase, or was one never replaced in the first place?We spoke with Sytner, advising what has happened previously and that w. 1 require our car to be collected a courtesy car dropped off.We were advised to contact BMW Assistance to arrange a courtesy.We called BMW Assistance, who were quite perplexed that we were calling them to arrange collection of our vehicle and a courtesy car. But, we were informed it was all booked in for 17/10, our car would be collected 7pm and a courtesy car would be with us within 2hrs.7pm, our vehicle get collected.9.30pm we call BMW Assistance who can’t help but will prioritise a call back from the follow up team.18/10 11am still no courtesy car and still no call back.12.00 we call BMW Assistance, 45 minutes on hold, to then be told a courtesy car was never booked for us.A courtesy car was eventually booked, but only for 4 days. If it goes over 4 days, we become liable for the costs!!Absolutely horrendous customer service!Why wasn’t the car fixed correctly first time around?Why couldn’t Sytner BMW arrange collection and delivery from the site?Why were we pushed to arrange things through BMW Assistance?Why wasn’t the courtesy vehicle arranged and delivered as agreed by BMW Assistance?Not what you’d expect from BMW, Not what you’d expect from Sytner, Not what you’d expect from a BMW under 2yrs old

Very good experience with Sytner Cardiff. I bought a M6 Gran Coupe, which was purchased remotely. Very happy with the sales support, handover and after sales support who covered the servicing which was due very close to the point of sales. Has been pleasure dealing with Owen, Stuart and Sahil.

Got the issues sorted and got what I wanted. Alison and Rhodri were brilliant. Dean was very accommodating when I had the issues and came up with a solution that satisfied my initial complaint. Dean has kept me as a returning customer.

Picked up my new 330e M Sport today. Paul Bennett managed the handover, which was well delivered in a great environment. Based upon my experience today, I would highly recommend.

This review is for my second purchase at this dealership. Niall Rauwerda and Owen Smith helped me decide on my new vehicle. There was never any attempt to pressure sell. They were both a credit to Sytner. Anyone looking for a BMW should call these guys. Highly recommended and enjoyable experience.

I was lucky enough to be able to bring my Mini here for an MOT on a Saturday when the Mini service area was closed. From the moment I arrived to the moment I collected my car I was treated in an elevated manner, & I was blown away by the level of service. When my car was checked in the directions were clear to follow & work was started on my car whilst I was still talking to the service advisor. The works were thorough & efficient & I was informed promptly that my car was ready. Upon collection the service advisor had my invoice ready & was polite & friendly. She even offered to bring my car to the door. The showroom was spotlessly clean & the cars were stunning. I love my Mini but the whole experience has genuinely made me consider a BMW for my next car if it means I can attend this garage.

Purchased a M car from BMW, a common fault occurred on my S55 engine. Booked in with BMW for warranty work, had nothing but problems with the service received. Contacted via email complaints over 3 weeks ago, still nothing back from them.Considering this is how they treat some of their customers, even when buying an expensive car I will not be buying another BMW M car. Once the repair was completed they left bolts undone from a structural part, on my way home 4 out of the 8 bolts missing and 1 found its way into my fairly new tire (this could have been very dangerous luckily I got away lightly). DO NOT RECOMMENDInsult to injury they did not fit the new tyre correctly air escaping!Edit 9/8/23 - BMW UK have emailed back stating that BMW centers are independently owned and managed" also stating that there's nothing they can do. Great response from such a big company will be seeking advice from the motor ombudsman"
