Seven Kings railway station is on the Great Eastern Main Line serving the district of Seven Kings in the London Borough of Redbridge, east London. It is 8 miles 46 chains (13.8 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Ilford and Goodmayes. Its three-letter station code is SVK and it is in Travelcard Zone 4. The station was opened on 1 March 1899 by the Great Eastern Railway. It is currently managed by Transport for London and is on the Elizabeth line between Shenfield and Heathrow Airport..In June 2017 new Class 345 trains began entering service in preparation for the opening of Crossrail. New lifts, signage, help points, customer information screens and CCTV were installed. The platforms at Seven Kings are too short for the 200 metres (220 yd) long 9-carriage trains, so selective door opening is utilised to prevent the doors opening in one carriage.Seven Kings is the closest station to Ilford EMU Depot.London Buses routes 86 and N86 serve the station.

Never in my almost 50 years have I experienced any issues at this station with disservice or unnecessary rudeness until last week when I tried to get a visitor oyster card for my 11 year old. Not as straightforward as it sounds as you have to buy an oyster card and activate a young person's rate at a main underground station. Not only was the person who served" me unable to explain this clearly he also interrupted me on several occasions in an unnecessarily aggressive way and also said that I must be confused because of the "muddled up thoughts in my head". There are absolutely no excuses for rudeness like that and if I hadn't been with my family I would've given him a piece of my mind."

Every Saturday and Sunday Elizabeth Line is closed between Whitechapel and Shenfield. What is the point to have a new Elizabeth Line can't run in the weekend. Bring the old train back in, so at least we could go to work in the weekend.

Decent east London suburb good variety and mix of peoples, pretty decent high Street like most typical Victoriana designs, good choice of shops ranging from cafes/fast food, high Street Chad in stores and lots of independent owned shops, parking ain't too much of a issue like most places certain times/days are busy, nice area of a day time what I see of night life typical of most areas, decent place don't mind working in the east London region for me in my opinion

This station is much better than before TFL rail taking over the Shenfield branch. Back then when it was all National Rail serving the metro line Greater Anglia (NXEA years before that) this station was quite dirty and run down, especially the shelters, and the stairs. Now when TFL rail took over the Shenfield metro line, it's all clean and modern, especially the new exit bridge being built, with an improved entrance. A big plus over the original look of the station before TFL rail took over.
