Bw aware that if you are an existing customer you may find it cheaper to start a new policy rather than renewing your existing policy.I have identical cover as a new customer 25% cheaper than my renewal quote was.This is a common insurance practice known as price walking. I raised a complaint about it but they didn't listen and treated my complaint as if I was complaining about the premium increase, not about the price walking of existing customers

I have two dogs and only one is insured with Pet Protect and they are by far the easiest company to deal with and more importantly pay out more quickly.Easy communication, can order repeat medication online with no hassle.I would definitely recommend Pet Protect

Very good insurance company, my little dachshund has heart disease and requires scans frequently and medication which is very costly. My vet claims directly and all we have to do is pay our share of 20%. So pleased we took out the insurance it gives us peace of mind that when we need medical attention, 80% of the cost is sorted. Pay the claims quickly too, definitely recommend them

Our pet needed a referral for extra tests after a poorly episode, I made a quick call to pet protect they dealt with the vets direct and handled everything. I appreciated the communication provided, keeping me in the loop and everything was sorted out very efficiently. Our pet is now on the mend and we couldn't be happier, thanks pet protect!

No fuss claim for my puppy. Treatment was spread across 2 separate veterinary practices, but the claim process with Pet Protect was straightforward and painless. A great service!

The pup needed a hip replacement. We had zero issues with Pet Protect paying out and it was super smooth and I barely had to be involved. I did forget about the excess so don’t do that but I can’t blame them for my memory.Great service!

I haven’t had any issues with Pet Protect. Their customer service is great via live chat and always get the correct outcomes.I’ve had many claims to submit and all paid in line with policy, whether claiming myself or via the vets.Would recommend.

Great Insurance for my springer spaniel. He had a large abcess form quickly in September, we paid the vets...but it kept coming back after a few months of antibiotics and various visits, Vet said he needed a scan and flush, he is now fully healed. Popped the documents from the vet online through the claims process and claim was paid within 8 working days. Quick, easy and no hassel!

Not insured with our pups for long only a matter of weeks, unfortunately both of our pups decided to dig up a very old battery in the garden(obviously previous owners)Both got very sick very quickly, immediately taken to animal hospital where sedation x rays and drugs were used.Fortunately pups made a very fast recovery,The vets contacted our insurers and dealt with claim and money was in my bank within ten days, cannot argue with thatThank you pet protect

I am totally happy with my Pet Protect Policy. My vet's admin secretary deals with all claims and to date there have been absolutely no problems / quibbles or discussions. I will definitely let be staying with Pet Protect for the foreseeable future.
