1st Call Auto Rentals

Hired a tail lift van for the weekend, easy to book only a few days before and very reasonably priced, quick and easy to both pick up and drop back, and the van was near brand new which made all the driving very pleasant, wouldn't go anywhere else.

I needed a car very quick, I rang them first thing when they opened and I picked the car up a few hours later, they were a life saver, I wasn’t sure how long I needed the car so they said pay for one day and to let them know if I needed car longer, it turned out I needed car longer and was able to ring them to extend the hire. Thank you to you both. Very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service from 1st call - have hired a car from them a couple of times now and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. The car was perfect for my needs and didn't cost the earth but it's the customer service from Sean and Neil that really makes it all worthwhile as they are so honest, friendly and reassuring and will help you with all the paperwork if you need it.

We hired a car for our holiday. First class service. Both guys are really friendly and helpful. I was a little anxious to have nothing in writing when booking, but the guys were true to their word and everything was as asked/booked. Great car, good price and excellent service. Hired a van for moving a couple of months ago, way cheaper than big rentals companies and still excellent service. Had no problems with the van, it was a new mode and drove well, and pick up and drop off were a breeze. Just booked again for the second time and these guys will be my go to in the future.It’s a different process to a big company, there’s no formal email with a reservation confirmation, instead you just call up, they reserve the car for you at an agreed date and time and do a quick walk around the vehicle before you drive off to just note down any significant damage. The people running this rental company are genuine and down to earth so I’d definitely recommend giving them a try at least.

I’ve rented vehicles elsewhere, but the Gloucester 1st call branch were far superior than others. The lads were brilliant quick and on the ball. nothing was to much bother , I’ve rented vans for a long time , and won’t go anywhere else many thanks Dave the pallet man
