Essex Turf Laying

Our lawn had been ruined by materials being in the garden for so long while having an extension - Joe and his team came and re-turfed the garden last week and the transformation is incredible! The job was carried out very professionally and thoroughly with no mess and the quality of the turf is excellent, as you can see from the photos (photos are before, just after being laid and 3 days later). I had quite a few quotes from several business in Essex. These guys were not only the best price they were responsive and professional. My garden wasn’t level weeds everywhere even tree roots. They managed to rotavate, level, lay new top soil and lay new lawn turf in one day! Garden looks amazing full recommend.

I would challenge the authenticity of the photos depicted on this website, My own experience of this company is less than satisfactory, we agreed a price and was given a start date, the work involved was to strip and relay with Rolawn Medallion turf. first day, 2 hours to strip and remove old turf, day 2, to rotavate area ? and top dress 2 hours. Day 3. lay turf involving two deliverys resulting in 2 distinct types of turf, 4 hours. all completed by Joe and his team (one indifferent helper) using equipment on a daily hired basis, contrary to his claim that he owned all of his machines, The net result was less than satisfactory, on complaining about the quality of the turf he agreed to revisit the site, he eventually agreed to replace the offending turf when next he had a slot in his diary,this was odd being as he was able to commence the work with just three days notice, Initially he requested payment upfront which was refused and has at the same time has refused to provide an invoice, after many emails and phone calls requested a satisfactory conclusion over several months, his last email states that he will never return to rectify my complaint , even a threat of court action only resulted in an abusive reply, all of this can be substanciated by photos and emails. A scam inflicted on a 92 old pensioner. Buyer be warned

Joe arrived on time to provide a quotation for re-turfing our lawn area he took the time to explain exactly what the scope of work would be, the price was agreed together with the date for the works to be undertaken.As arranged, Joe arrived promptly on the date agreed, he explained precisely what he would be doing and supplied all the necessary materials to protect our property. High quality turf laid with care. Prompt, clean and tidy.This south facing lawn was previous unlevel in all dimensions and had suffered from the 2022 drought to become very weedy. The team rotovated and levelled the area, adding new soil where necessary. After firming the base for the Rolawn turf it's gone from battle zone to show home. Thank you.
