The Mulberry Tree Restaurant
The restaurant deserves 5* as the food and service we received was fantastic. The quiet room is a great place to chat, eat and drink but one thing that let it down was the constant opening of the door due to staff serving the customers in the pods outside. Every time the door was opened a cold gale blew through the restaurant. Please take into account that a lot of elderly people use this part of the restaurant and tend to feel the cold much more than others like my mum did. I would not take away a star for this reason but please take my feedback into consideration to maintain the perfect dining area that you offer. Well done also to all of your perfect staff. Lovely day had by all. Thank you.

Just been today for cream tea in the pods as a birthday treat with my mum , daughter and grandsonsAbsolutely fantastic, beautiful food , lovely friendly staff and a cosy warm pod all to ourselvesCould not recommend more highly and plan to make this a new Christmas traditionThanks to the lovely lady who served us tooAll wonderful

Fancied a quick bite whilst shopping at Ruxley Manor Garden Centre. This restaurant offered a good selection of snacks and drinks. We went for the cream tea which came with all the trimmings. We were able to book from the table using the QR code and link. Food and drinks arrived in just a few minutes, very impressed. The scone was the largest I have seen! Tea was nice and hot and there is a good selection of teas and coffees.

All automated now. Nice idea to order at the table and have everything delivered. Seemed to work well although meant that we were all looking at our phone for the first ten minuets of sitting down. Not very sociable. Good choice of drinks. Food ok, if a little expensive.

Easy to order using the online menu and food was as described, with easy additions / modifications to be made using the app. Breakfast options served until 11.30am and food and coffee was nice. Service was really quick and staff were helpful and polite.

The mobile ordering via QR code made eating here really quick and all the food and drinks arrived very quickly. The strawberry lemonade was delicious as was the breakfast.

Very large dining room in the garden centre.The food is canteen like but decent.Food comes very quickly.Food tasted good but was nothing special.It felt quite expensive but may be normal for the area. Loads of seating available.

Always been to ruxley and love this place. This time I went to the restaurant and ordered 2 hot sandwiches and a jam Sandwich for my daughter who is a toddler.The restaurant was very busy. At 2pm. We had to wait 40 mins until I asked the waitress behind the till to see where it was. I was told it was being made now. I could see this had been missed or forgotten again being busy this happens. I feel what was missing was when you arrive there should be someone explaining there might be up to 30 min wait for hot food due to the amount of people. Very disappointed this time more so because as a parent trying to control a toddler waiting for food for 50 mins is a challenge. When we recieved the food there was no apology or anything. I feel communication from staff needs to be better.

Evening Buffet with organised and well presented awards night, We are very familiar with The Mulberry Tree Restaurant and find all the staff very helpful, friendly as well as the food always being very well cooked.Not the most expensive or cheapest you will find in the local area and the parking is secure and space is never an issue.I find it's best to shop then eat.Worthwhile a morning visit for a full English breakfast.Pete

I’m sorry, but we had a poor experience. We ordered via the QR code - brilliant. Then it started to go wrong. Our order was delivered over a 30 minute period. In the end we still had 1 drink missing and were told there was no order for it?! The tables were dirty and full of used plates etc… the food we had was not worth the price. Love Ruxley, but the Mulberry Tree was having a bad day.
