Halfords - Brixton (London)

The bike & scooter team are top class. Shanon helped me today and was extremely quick and thorough.Fantastic service. Had my chain fitted here also and got exceptional service that time.The bike team deserve a raise!

Halfords staff are always so helpful.But today the young lady who served me, was amazing, her enthusiasm and genuine feel good happy demeanour, had me walking out of the store with a big smile on my face.I didn't catch her name otherwise I would of course had given her a shout out.All in all a great visit to Halfords Brixton

Don’t even bother going here if you have an electric bike - I needed to get my real wheel spokes replaced! Would of saved me a 1 hour trip going Halfords if they mentioned that they don’t touch electric bikes that haven’t been bought from Halfords.PS. Decathlon happily helped me and fixed my rear wheel.

Dreadful! Bought my bike at the store in August 2022 and paid £60 for 3 years servicing. You can’t call this store directly so on 3rd November I booked a service for 10am on Saturday 18th November via their customer service phone number. When I arrived today, I was asked if I had booked directly via the store (to which I replied ‘How? You don’t take phone calls’) and then told they’d need to speak to the manager to see if they could fit me in as they had over 40 services booked in for the day. When Dorian, the poor guy behind the desk, returned from a chat with the manager (who I never got to see), he told me that they could take it in but that they wouldn’t probably get round to doing the service for at least a month. When I asked why I’d been allowed to book via their customer service, I was told that the people at the end of the phone shouldn’t be doing bookings. When I expressed my disbelief at this farcical situation, the man behind me in the queue started telling me how bad his experiences had been and that this kind of thing was normal. He said he’d brought his E-bike in for services booked in advance only to be turned away because the technician down to do the work wasn’t in that day. After he’d told me this, I demanded my £60 back and Dorian refunded me. I told him that none of this was his individual fault but that I would never be spending money at Halfords ever again. I have to say that I think the manager is pretty cowardly for not coming out to speak with me himself and that Halfords clearly doesn’t care about its customers if they just book in services regardless of availability. A morning wasted. Thanks, Halfords - you’re an utter joke of a business!

Tasha, Bea and Koral were very helpful and friendly. They were professional and got my car fixed at an amazing price. I am very happy with the service provided today.

Excellent service at the Brixton store on the evening of 28/11/2023. Despite a steady stream of customers the young lady on the till greeted everyone with a smile. Unfortunately my click and collect item was wrong but she changed it for the right one with no bother! Good work ;)

Good range and friendly staff but over the last 3 times I’ve been In here I’m yet to wait any less than 10 minutes in the queue to pay. I’ve seen glaciers move faster.Please, improve your store management or get some self checkouts - it’s got to the point where I loathe visiting because of how much time I end up wasting.

Great service from Dorian. I have visited the store 3 times in 3 weeks to choose, order and collect my daughter's first bike.He has gone above and beyond each time.He is meticulous and extremely considerate.His customer service skills cannot be beaten.He also fixes bikes! Very talented young man.Great job!

Really nice and helpful staff. Got a new bike today and the staff was very patient whilst I chose new items for the bike. I'm sad I don't remember the name of the guy who assisted me. Hope all the staff is paid well, because they deserve it :)

Errol was just brilliant.Very polite, able to get to the issue of the problem with my car and remedied the problem with swift action. He was also able to give advice on what to look out for in the future with regards to car battery's function.
