Boulder World Belfast

I feel pressured to give it higher rating, but frankly having climbed at a few different bouldering gyms this one I'm enjoying the least.I've enjoyed one or two climbs on the main walls the comp walls are better.Cons:1. The registration process is a pain2. It can get very busy at peak times3. No culture of brushing holds.4. It's mostly slabs with one cave5. Apart from comp walls the routes don't have much variation and therefore lack fun(see 4.)6. One toilet( see point 2)7. Routes aren't changed frequently. Have gone about 10 times and pretty bored now.Sadly after our families 3 month sub is done I reckon we'd probably only drop in occasionally every few months.

Great routes and great music but kind of hard to see where the routes start and some of the holds could do with a proper cleaning.

Some spot. The comp walls are loads of fun. Can’t hire a chalk bag though which is a bit annoying.

Two in our group, doing the beginner session. We were taken around and given the opportunity to try different climbing levels and difficulties. Enjoyed every moment of it. You're given climbing shoes to wear which is very helpful

I personally love the place! Really nice people, awesome community, overall great experience!

Great spot to spend many hours during the day or evening. Plenty of experienced staff and members to help.

awesome place, awesome people, the gym is pretty old school comparing to the other gyms I've been to but the settings are good.

Many a jovial experience has been had at this gym. A wide range of climbs for all shapes and sizes. Bit on the small side and can get awful crowded and sweaty at times. Would like to see the business expand to greater heights in belfast and beyond - maybe a rope gym?
