The Horns Dam

I'd suggest looking the contact details up on Google and giving them a call to see what complete packages and facilities are available. Whatever, I'm sure you'd enjoy the experience!

I have fished the Horns Dam (larger of the 3 lakes a few times over the last couple of years and this lake is good for catching Carp to the low 20lb's mark from what I have witnessed there, I have also seen Bream to 3lb and Roach to 1lb, on the website which possibly needs updating it states Bream to over 10lb's and there is some photos in the toilets of large Bream from years ago, maybe they are still in there somewhere, also mentions Specimen Perch, a good head of Rudd and Chub and Tench to over 6lb but i have witnessed none of these species there and after speaking with the owner he did say that the Tench had probably died out, so I would say don't go there with the intention of targeting Tench, anyway like I said good for Carp to low 20lb's also approx 40 good pegs to choose from and good for kids to catch a few of the Roach close in on the float as a young lad was doing recently, nice clean toilets. Update although I have seen no Perch in there, another reviewer says they had some Perch 1 day and there is a photo of a nice sized Perch in the Gallery.

Myself and mate Garry have fished at Horns Dam a good number of times.Well kept picturesque fishery.Excellent toilet and washing facilities for all anglers.Always catch plenty of fish whenever we go.Highly recommended.

This is a real gem of a site with excellent fishing in three lakes all in view and within a minutes walk of the pitches. The site is made up of a seasonal section and a CAMC CL. The facilities block offers a toilet and a shower which is clean and stocked. There is oodles of space to wander with the dog and the grass is well cut.Lovely site and definitely worth more return visits

The lakes are in a lovely setting, the fishing is good, something for all abilities. The owners are friendly.There is also a toilet facility which is clean and tidy.

Nice and quiet area, friendly owners, and the big lake is good for carping as well as getting lots of small ones on the float rod
