North Star Sanctum

Perfect place to lay back and relax, with hot tub to enjoy. the host super friendly and the cottages have everything you need from cutlery to plates and glasses. Peaceful isolated enough but just a short drive to shops. Everything was clean and tidy.Cons: a few mosquitos but thats not their fault.Would I come back? definitely!!!

+Very lovely, high quality lodges.+Very nice attention to detail.+Smart TV in each room+Hot tubs+Log burner+Everything you need ready to go when you arrive. Towels, appliances, robes and slippers for the tub, a few logs and firelighters etc for the log burner. All you need is food and you're good.+Good value+Warm even in winter+Comfy beds-Hard pillows. Kept waking with a stiff neck-Bit out of the way which might be a positive if that's what you're looking for but it's miles from anywhere if you need supplies.

Had a lovely long weekend stay here. We went in mid-July and the weather wasn't the best but these cabins are really cosy to relax in on an evening with some food/drink - I can definitely see why people come through winter. Really nice clean facilities and hot tub - situated in a pleasant quiet area but an easy drive to nearby sea-side towns and also Hull centre if you wish. Already looking to rebook again for next year.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend, kindly accommodated with a bottle of bubbly and dog friendly for a morning walk before a day of activities, lovely peaceful location. The lodges were beautifully furnished with full cooking facilities. The robes for the hot tub were a lovely added touch too! Look forward to returning in the future for another break

Found while looking for a lodge getaway which incorporated having dogs.This is a little gem tucked away in a nice quiet area but within a short drive of beaches and other coastal town and villages.Simon and his wife who unfortunately I've forgot her name sorry,are very friendly and can't do enough for you to make your stay amazing.Which is why we're going back again to enjoy this pace a second time

The grounds are meticulously maintained, blooming with the charm of the countryside. Adjacent grasslands provide an ideal setting for those who wish to take their dogs for a stroll. The tranquillity of the place is calming, and you get a feeling of being in a world away from the everyday bustle.Only a 15-minute drive away, Mappleton beach became our favourite spot for leisurely dog walks. Its clean, sandy expanses and the convenience of free parking make it a welcoming destination. Do remember to check the tide times before heading out! Alternatively, one could venture out to Hornsea or Fraisthorpe beach, each with their unique character and charm.Our stay in the Raji lodge was like stepping into a slice of India. The attention to detail in the decor was simply inspiring, rendering an authentic feel that elevated our stay. The lodge offers two double rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort.The functionality matches the aesthetic appeal, especially in the kitchen, which is well-equipped with a full-sized fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven hob, and well-stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, making home-cooked meals an enjoyable affair.The lodge is well-suited to the digital age, equipped with a smart TV, ensuring entertainment is at your fingertips. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable and fast, catering to our online needs without any hiccups.Adding to the comforts are central heating, included gas and electricity, bed linen, and towels, all provided. The beds are made up for your arrival, allowing you to sink into relaxation the moment you arrive.A standout feature was the hot tub, easily accommodating four people. Soaking in it under the open sky was the epitome of relaxation, a perfect end to our days of exploration.In short, North Star Sanctum exceeded our expectations in every way. This peaceful retreat seamlessly blends comfort, convenience, and a touch of exotic allure, offering a stay that is both memorable and rejuvenating. A visit here comes highly recommended, a lodging that we can't wait to return to!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at North Star. Beautifully decorated lodge with a great attention to detail throughout. From the cake, milk and prosecco, to the robes hung in the bathroom and the information folder in the accommodation everything is superb . Only gave 3☆ for location as it is very out of the way, nearest pub approximately 3 miles down country lanes (wished we had taken bicycles but will know for next time). Spotted Duck Cafe in easy walking distance and food superb. Hull a 30 min drive.

The log cabins are great each one themed differently owner very friendly and welcoming really well equipped log cabins would highly recommend

Excellent and beyond cannot fault in anyway milk cake tea and coffee dishwasher tablets they thought of everything ideal place in middle of everywhere to travel to various locations highly recommend
