My Personal Style

I first went to see Nicola for a colour analysis in 2012. This was quickly followed by a style consultation and the first of several wardrobe weeds. Over the years, I’ve also been to almost all of Nicola’s workshops and seasonal updates, and had a personal shopping session with her for my birthday.Nicola has really helped me to understand what does and doesn’t suit me and why - in terms of colour, shape, style and fit. She has also taught me how to combine these factors to make a range of great outfits from a limited number of items. In other words, she’s taught me not only know what to wear, but how to wear it. This has made me a much more confident and cost-effective shopper.Appearance is a sensitive and complex topic for many people, myself included, but Nicola’s perceptive and thoughtful approach has always put me at ease. She’s encouraged me to try new things, but never pushed me to do anything I didn’t feel ready for or comfortable with. She’s always been very pragmatic, tailoring her advice to my lifestyle, age and budget. Another reason it’s so easy to trust her is that she always looks absolutely fantastic!I can’t recommend Nicola highly enough. She was born to be a personal stylist, and her passion for the job shines through. Don’t hesitate to go and see her – you won’t regret it!

Nicola was wonderful. I’d never been confident knowing which colours suit me and shopping had been a bit hit and miss as a result! After two hours with Nicola, I now know what makeup, colours and colour combinations I should wear and what I should avoid (basically half my wardrobe!). With the help of the colour swatches I’ve taken away with me, I’m excited to now shop with confidence and most importantly feel much more confident in the clothes I’ll choose to wear. No more black to be on the safe side (it’s actually a colour I should avoid!)!!!Had I known sooner that experts like Nicola exist, I would have done this 20 years ago.. I’d urge everyone to see Nicola for her expert advice - it’s well worth it!

Nicola is an outstanding colour and style consultant, not just in what she does but in how she deals with people to help them understand what's good for them and more importantly what's not so good. She's helped me tremendously in understanding what colours and shapes suit me, as well as my step-daughter who no longer wears black as it just wasn't her colour!

I have over the past 12 months had a colour and style consultation with Nicola and I am delighted. Nicola is warm and welcoming, truly listens and gave wonderful advice and guidance for both colour and style. Nicola is a genius a identifying what style and colours are the most flattering for you. I have attended one of her workshops which was so much fun and I also took the plunge and had a one to one colour consultation with her, which was a real eye opener!I am confident that I will be making much better clothes choice in the future!Highly Recommended!

Nicola is so easy to work with, she made me feel at ease and very comfortable. I had the full style, colour and make-up consultation and loved it. Nicola completely opened my eyes to matching colours and styles and I now feel much more confident about being able to build a work and casual wardrobe that expresses the real me. Nicola is a fabulous style consultant with a wide range of services and experience to match. She helped me with the My Perfect Wardrobe service looking at clothes and accessories I already had. Nicola put outfit options together, inc suitable accessories, some combinations I had never thought of and it has opened my eyes to my existing wardrobe.Nicola is a delight to work with, she listens to what you are wanting to achieve and works with you, I won't hesitate to contact her again when I feel I need a refresh.

I have been to several of Nicola’s workshops and sat in on a brilliant style session for my daughter. Nicola is down to earth, practical and positive, as well as being reassuringly professional. Her knowledge of all things colour and style is HUGE. She has a great eye for colour and for detail along with a talent for explaining and demonstrating things in a way which is easy to take on board and to put into practice. My daughter found the style session really useful ahead of buying a work wardrobe for her first job after graduating. I have picked up countless hints, tips and nuggets of information from the workshops. What’s more my daughter and I both had a fabulous time. Huge thank you to Nicola for two really wonderful, 'girlie' days out with my daughters. We all had a colour session about a month ago and this was followed just recently by a style day for me (which my daughters attended too). Although we all thought we 'knew' what we would be classified as colour-wise, it was a real surprise as we were totally wrong with my daughters (& yet, it does seem obvious now)!Nicola is an outstanding colour and style consultant, and I've been to a few, having first discovered 'colour' when CMB came to the UK over 30 years ago!
