Never been on a dating site before but chose this one because of wanting to meet someone with similar country interests .Very easy site to use.I have now met someone from the muddy matches site ,yes it’s taken a year but well worth the wait .It’s also been lovely talking to other men on this site even on a friendship level just because I enjoy talking about the countryside.If I decide this chap is not for me then I will make muddy matches my first port of call .Thankyou muddy matches

V v good Dating Site! Have used this for 3 1/2 years in total. As a niche market, numbers r small (so it can take a while to find someone). I’ve had 2 year-long relationships & made 2 good (farmer) friends.As with ALL dating Sites:- 98 per cent are time-wasters (I suspect on there for an ego boost or entertainment); unsubscribed Profiles are on there, as of course not everyone pays or deletes their inactive Profile; auto-renew can be switched off in A/c Settings.V cost-effective.

I met my boyfriend on Muddy Matches nearly 18 months ago! We have been going strong ever since and are so happy. Although only about 16 miles apart geographically, we wouldn't have met in a million years without Muddy Matches. My friend recommended it, even though I live in a town - I love the countryside and being outdoors - but you don't have to be a farmer or full time countryside resident to use it and possibly find the match of your dreams - it worked for us! Can't thank the team at Muddy Matches enough!!

Since getting divorced 4 years ago, I have been dating on and off. Being from a farming background and living in the countryside, I started with Muddy and find myself yo-yoing on and off the site. I did meet someone, dated for a while and we're now good friends. However, I see the same faces every time I go on (me being one of them I guess) but the same problem exists each time. You get 'visited', 'favourited' and 'winked' at and Muddy sends you an e-mail saying your profile has been visited X amount of times... ohhh wow lucky me. You then decide to message a person only to find it goes unread and you think ohhh that's weird, this person has viewed my profile several times and winked at me, favourited me but doesn't want to message and then you twig that's it because they're not a paid up member.... how utterly disappointing. Signing up for free and viewing people is fine but can't there be a section for paid up members only?I think the site's heart is in the right place but it needs a tweak here and there.

Like ALL dating sites, you find the same issues finding decent humans and matching so that's not anything to do with the site itself... However, i had the shocking experience with a plant they use to get you to sign up to paid for subscription. Basically, you get favourited by, quite possibly the best profile on there (that was a give away straight away but i didn't take heed), then that person sends you the one free message you are allowed to access and respond with. He then ghosts you mid chat flow - doesnt happen usually on this), and when you pull him up on it and ask him if he's a plant, he gets all sheepish (ha great pun).You cant access messages from any other profile so you have no idea if theyre real profiles to interact with or compatible. Probably the worst 'free' experience on a subscription dating site - i was a paid up member for 6 months before i stopped subscribing due to the lack of quality.

I had tried various other dating sites with no success finding it hard to have much in common with the guys I would meet on them. I discovered muddy matches, signed up and straight away found someone with similar outlook to life and interests! We met up within a week of chatting on the site and now two years later we are engaged and planning our wedding for next year!This service may seem slower than what your used to with the likes of tinder and such but if you're into the outdoors and 'country' life then this is the site for you!! I also preferred the 'slower' style rather than swiping left or right just based on looks!Sign up and good luck is my message to you!!

Signed up with muddy matches a while back. Never used a dating site before so didnt know what to expect really. Had fun chatting with a few guys then got chatting to one who seemed nice at the start but then became more controlling and then abusive. We never met just chatted on the phone after exchanging numbers. He told me that he had had several bad experiences with women blocking him but I didn't twig. He then started asking for money and when I refused he became so abusive I finally blocked his number but he started sending abusive messages via Muddys Site! And they have done nothing about it! Shoddy behaviour. Avoid this site completely

I joined muddy matches after having mixed experiences on other sites and wasn't expecting to find my match very quickly - I was wrong! It really helps by putting yourself on a dating site for people that have similar interests and it wasn't long before I started chatting to a really nice lady. We hit it off from the start and couldn't believe how similar we both are, whats funnier is that we only live 5 mins away from each other and have probably crossed paths without even noticing. If I never joined muddy matches I'd have never found this great lady and I never thought it would happen so fast and with someone so close to me. So if you are a countryside person like myself I would recommend giving muddymatches a go as you can find genuine people out there who share similar interests from the start.
