Burger Daddy
The old menu was much better. Also website didn't pass my order onto the restaurant. I called as the collection window was an hour, to be told they didn't have my order. Quickly sorted out though. When I went to pick up told the side I ordered was out of stock. Had to wait another 10 mins for an alternative.In their defence it was the first day of the new website, but experience was a bit chaotic. Still a good burger joint, but the new menu is not as good as the idl one, much less choice.

Food gets a 2.5. Looks good, tastes ok. The patty was a little bland, not much flavour to the meat. Prices are reasonable for the portions. The shop is tiny and seating is poor. What brought the rating down to a 2 was the ridiculous 'student discount' they offer. I don't know if it was simply a case of a badly trained member of staff on the till or whether it was actually the business model... 6 of us went to eat spending approximately £60 and when one of us showed his student ID we were told only one item would get the discount. Very strange approach and not one I've ever experienced before. What if he was paying for all of us? What if he ordered 6 separate meals? Very odd approach for any business that would want happy customers to return. Poor customer service and the fact that the food is nothing special means I won't be going back again and nor will I recommend it to anyone. Nice presentation, not great taste and poor approach to customers.

Got it delivered by Deliveroo. Securely wrapped and still good temperature. Very nice chips, good quality. Tasty burgers, good flavour. Meat could be spiced slightly more but still makes a really good meal. Decent size of the burger. I am sure I will be ordering from them again.

A pretty decent burger at good value. The patty itself lacked a little flavour, but overall a nice, well made burger. Has a good variety on the menu. However not many seats inside.Also bit annoyed that the student discount was only applied on one burger, rather than the entire order.

Impromptu lunch. Lovingly messy double cheeseburger, fries and a coke for only £12.99. Good sear on patties, tender bun, hot, juicy and very tasty. Very cheerful, friendly and accommodating lady owner. At this price point it was an excellent burger. There are many combinations of ingredients for those more adventurous than I. Also wings, dogs etc..

Came here for lunch on a sunny afternoon based on the good reviews. Luckily managed to eat in at a small bar table and ordered quickly. Service was good, food took a bit to come but was fresh and hot.The stand out factor was the flavour! Big poppa burger was incredible. Brisket was perfectly tender and melt-in-the-mouth with a delicious buttery flavour. Patties were thin but juicy and really meaty. Onion rings were crispy and not greasy. We had bbq chicken fries which could have done with a fork to eat, but all the flavours hit the mark with melty nacho cheese and sweet bbq sauce. The tenders were really crispy and the chicken was juicy. Oreo milkshakes were good but nothing massively special.Definitely would come again (next time with a fork).

We've only ever ordered via Deliveroo, so don't know what the eat in experience is like, but their Mexican Hot Dog is to die for. And check out how BIG the portion of Apple Crumble is!
