Keith Golf Club

This is a great country club, well away from any main roads or other distractions in an area where you really do get peace to play. The greens are usually in good nick, the bunkers are decent and tee to green is like most courses, dependant on how straight you hit the ball. There are areas of rough and difficulties that make you work, but you would expect that, or should. The one and only complaint is that , for a raised, hillside type course, it holds a lot of surface water (even in the summer) and as the cost of effective drainage is clearly cost inhibitive for the club a game after a spell of heavy rain can be a wet affair. If I won the lottery I would immediately pay for adequate drainage for them as I like the look, feel and set up of the course....but not wet feet. The club house is in keeping with the course and everyone who works there is very friendly (as are the members) and very welcoming. Keith people are friendly and the course reflects this operating an honesty" box for those that want to play but no one is around to take your money. It's a lovely course and you will get time to play without being hounded
