Contacted re rough casting work and were happy to come out to provide an estimate beginning of week of 3rd.May. Didn't come out so contacted them on 10th May and said they tried calling (no missed call on my phone). Said they would come out in next day or two. Now another week gone and again nobody has turned up, no phone call or email to apologise or reschedule. Very disappointed and now delays work getting done while I find another more reliable company. Very unprofessional service

Great craftsmanship in all that they did on our house that is over 100 years old. Renewed chimney, fixed slates on roof, rough cast the back of entire house and replaced all guttering. The guys were tidy and conciensous. I have already recommended them to a friend.

Absolutely fantastic job! We got a new roof fitted the guys were brilliant! Very professional, efficient, worked mega hard from start to finish cleaning up all the way through. Very friendly team and earned a few more jobs from neighbours whom noticed how incredibly professional their work is. Will absolutely be using again for anything in the future. Added bonus was Willie rushing out to help a neighbour whilst he was here for our roof as she was in a panic about troubles with a few tiles on her roof. Genuine guys delivering an extremely high service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wouldn't recommend, low quality job completed and terrible aftercare after being employed to roughcast, add pvc vents and pvc edging.Took a while to get them booked in but once here got on with the job and job was finished, was a little annoyed as was being rushed to pay before the job was completed as i had cash. Stupidly i did as the 2 main boys weren't seen after that, kept sending round the apprentices to finish bits, they boys couldn't finish there dinner never mind my house. Dean agreed to this after they were sacked for being useless and failing to show up to work.Place was a mess, cement and chips everywhere but suppose the chips i have to accept.The roof of my shed was bowed as they had the boys on top of it with a barrow of cement, never told them it would hold their weight n lucky it did, dean did provide replacement joists. Slab was smashed, not sure how that was done, external lights were smashed and was promised the cost would be covered (never happened).Once the job was complete and scaffolding down i could start to see issue's, its patchy not flat and found that they didn't remove the old cement off the ingo so i can't open my hopper window and the white pvc vents went yellow almost immediately.I have phone and text dean and William countless times and its excuses after excuses after excuses about why they can't come round, and they blame the staff, the weather, other jobs but funnily enough never themselves. Even after they came round to review they didn't do anything, have seen them face to face at least dean will speak to you where William will ignore youGave up trying to get the ingo fixed as thatll probably get messed up and now the pvc has broken as the fixings weren't secured well and again im waiting months to get it repaired as theres a 10 yr warranty on it. Was told the team were supposed to be round but have the wrong drill bits and couldn't replace the knee height vents due to the weather.Would highly recommend looking at another company and stay clear of them for roughcasting.

William and Dean did an excellent job of rough casting, at my house in Dalmeny. They worked extremely hard to get the job done within the timescale and the result was superb. I have had many comments from neighbours and friends who compliment the work and look of the house The whole rough casting job has totally transformed the outside and looks so welcoming now. A great job, I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

My parents contacted this company to see if someone could come to check out a leak on their roof and the guy said he’d come the following day. He didn’t show up and when they tried to call him they got no answer and no call backs. They waited in all day for him and he didn’t even have the decency to let them know he couldn’t make it. Very unprofessional.

Have used West Lothian Roofing for over 5 years for a variety of jobs, from fully replacing a slate roof to roughcasting and most recently having a new gutter installed. I have always found Dean, William and their guys friendly, professional, punctual and they complete the jobs to a high standard. I'm always updated at every step of the way and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services.

Work carried out July /August 2021. Work itself carried out to a good standard. One minor repair (following winter storms) required, and this was dealt with in reasonable time; however, over a year later, and following numerous emails, text messages (all saved) and broken promises, external fittings have still not been reinstated - and, more importantly, we have not received our warranty paperwork. I'm sure they will attend if asked, as they did before, but I have nothing to provide to my insurer should I need to make a claim.Top Tip: DO NOT make final payment until reinstatement work is FULLY completed and paperwork received.
