Bensons for Beds Harrogate

A store with a wide range of options but all of the staff gave their honest opinions with plenty of knowledge and justification. I was comparing to product online but you have no means of trying what you’re buying or physically laying on it. It’s all well and good seeing the specs but having clear guidance means I bought from here instead and the prices were just as competitive. Thanks Richard, Anne and Josh

Brilliant service received. Had my two year old twins with me so a shopping trip can be a bit of a challenge. The gentleman was so friendly and that really helped as he spoke to the twins and made them feel at ease. He was very informative and gave us all the advice we needed. Purchased a bed, 6 pillows a mattress and pillow protectors. Perfect all round I’d highly recommend.

Staff are super helpful and friendly. No massive sales push. Very patient with my parents who are elderly and forgetful. A large selection of beds and mattresses to choose from and a full price range. I highly recommend Bensons for Beds in Harrogate.

I wish there was a zero star to select. The WORST customer service I have ever worked with. We ordered a frame and headboard and confirmed delivery. Day of delivery we had to call and were told there was a computer glitche and they can't deliver that day. They offered us a week and a half later for delivery. Meanwhile, my husband took a day off work and we hired a company to remove our old bed. We now had no bed to sleep on for a week and a half. Bensons in Harrogate offered no compensation. I waited on the customer service line for 25 minutes to again be offered no compensation. Now we have to take another day off of work. I would have been more understanding if I was given some type of compensation or even compassion, but I was basically told it wasn't there fault. Highly disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. My father bought a bed 2 years ago that was built by the manager as it ended up being delivered at 8 o'clock in the evening! 2 years later it has now collapsed in the middle. My father has been told it should have had a post in the middle to support it, which the manager didn't put there. Having spoken to the shop and customer service he is being told he will have to pay for it to be sorted!! Sorry but how is this even his fault and why should he be charged. I phoned customer service yesterday and equally was spoken to in a disgusting way they promised to phone my father to sort and didn't!! Not the kind of service expected from such a large company!!Update: This has now been resolved by a nice lady called Sophie, many thanks for your help

Just been into the store in Harrogate to buy a mattress Richard was really helpful and insightful regarding what mattress to buy. The whole process was very quick which I was happy about because I popped in, in my lunch break!Thank you for your help looking forward to my new mattress.

Great service both in store and delivery. The Harrogate store really looked after us with choosing the right bed and talking us through the deals and aftercare.Delivery drivers were polite and managed to shift an extremely heavy mattress up the stairs in our flat in under a minute (no idea how, took me 15 mins to move the old one!).Only thing to bare in mind is delivery times start from 7am - our half hour courtesy call was at 6.30am and delivery just after 7am so make sure you're up!Will definitely buy from Bensons in Harrogate again when we require a new one.
