Since joining AMAWCKFA from another organisation going forward, the training is direct, detailed and is enabling me to achieve the understanding and practice of Wing Chun Kung Fu at a high standard.

Sifu John Cossentine is an excellent martial arts coach and teacher. He is very experienced and knowledgeable in Wing Chun and this comes across in his teaching.I wanted to learn Kung Fu for both the Art and practical self-defence, but held back for years as I found joining a class a little intimidating. After taking John's classes for a few months before lockdown and continuing home practice of the first form I found I had a new confidence already both calmer in situations but also physically when sparring. I also found his teaching of the Art had immense dedication and a deep authenticity which I was looking for.What I like most about his teaching is there is the acceptance he gives his students of their needs and ability, this means his classes are accessible to all, and his style is respectful but also down to earth.I highly recommend this class to men and women alike of all ages.
