We walked in off the street, and they were able to seat us. Freshly cooked Italian food. We had mozzarella and cured beef, and baked aubergine for starter, and a calzone and ham and artichoke pizza for main. All food was super tasty. The waiters were attentive and pleasant. The host was nice and had a laugh and conversation with all customers. Price was reasonable. Would go again.

Excellent Italian restaurant, with many gluten free choices. Perfect for Celiacs. Delicious pizza, and pasta, including gf lasagna, and tortellini. The owner is Celiac and very friendly. The food was delicious!!

One of my favourite gluten free home made, family run places in London.Such an amazing menu the flavour of the food is incredible. The salmon Pasta was amazing and the pizza was fantastic. We also shared home made gf bread to start which was warm and tiramusu for dessert.Only remembered to take photos half way through eating apologies for the mess of the plates we decided to end up sharing the pizza and pasta.Highly recommended, also highly recommend booking in advance which can be easily done through their website.

As a family of 3/4 gluten free members, we were absolutely shocked to see over 90 percent of menu items can be made gluten free. What is most surprising that the restaurant if family owned with owner who has celiac and they make their own GF bread, pasta, tortallini, pizza dough and even cakes!!! Most incredibly of all that it was absolutely the best GF Italian food We ever tried!!! If you want to feel like you came to visit a family and have someone understand food allergies challenges then this place should be on your list to visit! I think once you do, it will not be the only time!!!

We loved our meal last night. The staff were great and helped us get our grandson sorted throughout our stay. We all had different meals and all amazing. We will definitely be back next time we are in Waterloo

Almost didn't go in here to eat because it look a little run down. So happy I did. As soon as I sat down and they gave me an olive salad I knew this place would be great. They walk around with a basket of bread to chose what you like. I had a beer, glass of wine and pasta (forgot the name), then tiramisu and a cappuccino. Everything was amazing and total bill was £37.50.

Went there with a bunch of friends, including an Italian guy (me). Only one of our friends liked the food while the rest, including myself, didn’t. The mozzarella was supposed to be from buffalo but was tasteless. My pasta was slightly over cooked, the sauce didn’t taste fresh and the sausage chops should be chopped in tiny chunks and not big chops… I mean, a disaster. Not recommended.

Firstly, and I mean this in the best possible way, this isn’t a restaurant, it’s like being invited into someone’s home. From the doorstep and back again, I was welcomed and looked after. Not with disingenuous, corporate-drilled service, but with personal, attentive and genuine hospitality.I was offered breads and olives upon being seated and presented with the menu. The restaurant had literally just opened for dinner service and while things were still being sorted, I was never once neglected.I opted for ravioli napolina and a glass of the house red (I really wasn’t up to a bottle and the house was the only wine served by the glass). The former I’d been craving for, the latter, pleasantly surprised with the quality - cooking sherry, it was not.The ravioli was perfect. The portion, the presentation, the taste, I couldn’t have faulted it if I’d tried. The sauce was robust but delicately seasoned, the flavour of the tomatoes allowed to shine. The pasta had just the right bite and the filling was mouthwatering. The offered dusting of Parmesan and a couple of cracks of black pepper were restrained and didn’t distract from the dish. The guy who I’m presuming to be the owner was touching tables, sitting down for conversations with guests, spending time with folks who had called in to collect a takeaway, and injected a convivial atmosphere that is so, so rare these days - it was genuinely pleasing to watch him at work!Thank you, Cotto, for a wonderful meal and for inviting me into your home!

Incredible restaurant. Everything is 5/5, service, atmosphere and of course the food. I have coeliac disease and rarely ever seek out Italian cuisine (despite how much I love it) because there are never gluten free options. Cotto completely caters to coeliacs offering gluten free bread and everything on their menu can be made coeliac friendly. The service is also incredible, felt very welcomed and very well looked after. I ordered the gluten free tagliatelle seafood and Jono ordered the gluten free Ravioli - couldn’t even tell it was gluten free. Will be going back to try the pizza!

This is a coeliac dream spot! Only 2 items not made GF and they have a dedicated GF kitchen. From the moment we booked I had 100% confidence in the GF options and was not disappointed. The staff and owner are divine and the food and wine are something not to be missed. Will go again without hesitation and make sure you get the pizza!
