Lickpenny Caravan Park

One of the best sites we have ever stayed at. lovely staff, spotless facilities, lush green areas, good park for the kids , fully serviced super large pitches, and an easy walk through the woods to the local garden centre serving excellent coffee, all in all a great caravanning experience and thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in this area

Great sized pitches. Friendly staff. Our little 'un loves the park. No visitors allowed, can understand why they have this rule, but that's the only downside for us.

This is a very good site. Clean and well kept. The pitches are all pretty level and well spaced, some of them with good views. I would use this site again.

Lovely site with very private pitches (level) surrounded by hedges. Facilities immaculate and just a short distance from Matlock Bath. Owners were also very helpful and welcoming. Strongly recommend for long or short stay.

Harmony Lakeside lives up to its name with its tranquil waters and lush green surroundings. The kayaking options are fantastic, and the rental equipment is in great condition. The lakeside benches are a great spot for a peaceful moment of reflection.

This was our first visit to Lickpenny. We found it to be an outstandingly well manicured and beautiful site in a lovely area less than 10 mins from Matlock.The look and feel of the grounds of this touring park would do justice to a stately home or country park.We stayed on a deluxe pitch that was huge, flat, private and with a superb view. The dog walking area behind our pitch was huge, as was the off lead wooded dog walk over the road that we used with our fur baby to get to the nearby garden centre with excellent restaurant and coffee shop.Both shower blocks were clean and well maintained.We enjoyed our stay and loved the site so much that we have booked again for later this year.

Had a 4 night stay here in our tourer, (August 2023).The caravan park located just outside of Matlock town which was great for exploring the surrounding areas and away from the hustle and bustle. The park itself was very well maintained, the toilet and shower blocks were always clean and had nice hot showers. All pitches were oversized and very spacious. We had a deluxe service pitch and the views of the surrounding area was stunning watching the sun set every night. The receptionist and groundsman was very polite and very helpful couldn't ask for anything more. Nice outdoor play area for the kids to play on and space to play football or fly your kites, which was great for our 2 young boys. This was our first time using this site and would definitely recommend it to anyone and we ourselves will definitely be paying another visit.

Just returned from 3 nights spent at this wonderful site. It wasn't our first visit but it was even better than we remembered. Fantastic views, large pitches, friendly and helpful staff. Obviously the gorgeous sunshine helped but it really is a gem of a site and we look forward to visiting again soon. Thanks Lickpenny!!
