ABSOLUTELY RUINED MY WEDDING DRESS!Please do not trust this woman with anything, I asked her if she would be able to take out the back of my wedding dress as it was a bit too tight. She told me to leave it with her and she’d have a look at what she could do. I did this expecting some communication in what could and couldn’t be done. Instead I had a simple text to tell me my dress was ready. On collection, I was devastated at what she had done to my dress, she became annoyed with me and said that she had neglected other work to do my dress. I said I appreciated that but if she had called me to tell me what she was going to do, I would have asked her to leave it and taken it somewhere else. I didn’t dream what state my dress would end up in. She said that she doesn't phone customers! She had no empathy at all and ended up being very blunt and rude to me. I paid her for taking the dress up but that was it. I have been advised to take her to a small claims court but I’d rather come on here and prewarn others.

I didn't like the attitude when I handed the work in of two skirts and my linen jacket to have a fresh popper on. She agreed with a customer in there with her when I took the job in on recommendation from whom I've gone to for many years, that my mobile phone was supposed to be too heavy, my mobile is a slim line Samsung Galaxy A70. The jacket in question is a linen utility jacket from Landsend who does good quality clothing. The pockets are all double welted, if it wasn't strong enough, it would've made a massive hole in the bottom of the pocket before now. No I will be going somewhere else.
