The Red Lion - Denton
Excellent customer service. Stopped off during our 8.5 mile walk around the area, for a well earned break and we were made to feel so welcome.A member of our group asked if they did tea! Although not usually served the landlady was more then happy to accommodate her.We normally find that some pubs do not like walker's in their premises but that cannot be said here.I noticed dogs were welcomed too and we have already planning another walk in the area that will take us here again very soon.

My friend Dave and I enjoyed a couple of lagers at the Red Lion , Denton early this Sunday lunchtime . The host Wayne and Nicola were very welcoming. A lovely clean light and airy pub with tasteful decor .Good luck to them and the pub for the future in these challenging times

Lovely village pub with a good selection of beers including a couple of real ales. Landlady Nikky and Wayne are superb hosts and always give great service with a smile in a very homely comfortable pub. Bar food served include pasties, sausage rolls and pizza twists all at a reasonable cost. Pop in if your ever in Denton you won't be disappointed.

Really friendly local village pub, well patronised by locals and some from surrounding villages.Excellent cask ales with a weekly guest ale.Although this is not a food pub, it does sell heated sausage rolls, cornish pasties, and pizza twirls along with the usual crisps, peanuts, etc.There are regular events such as Live singers, Karaoke, Bingo, and a,weekly meat raffle on a Sunday at 4.00pm followed by 'Play your cards right'.Still very much the hub of the Community.Nothing has altered, a brilliant Village pub serving excellent beverages to the Community along with a venue for friends and families to meet together.Unfortunately, the current Landlord has had to serve notice due to price rises across the board. Hopefully, the owner will try to maintain it as a community asset.Only 5 weeks remaining as a pub in its own right. I believe it will be closed for a few weeks and reopen as an Indian restaurant under a new name and management. I will have to wait and see if it will retain any 'wet' trade for locals.

Friendly atmosphere, fairly priced drinks and a great garden. No questions asked, Lovely customer service and a great place to relax and enjoy some drinks. They always go above and beyond for customers.

Lovely village pub, it’s all about the focus on the customers with great prices to keep you returning, you won’t find a better priced Fizzy Friday in the area, great choice of real ales at more than competitive prices. Well worth a visit!!!!

The Red Lion - Denton
Lovely outdoor seating area with background music and heating. Owners are friendly and attentive. Made myself and fellow ramblers very welcome (we didn’t want to leave). They keep a great pint of beer.
