Wanted some advice regarding an old Rolex left to me by my late grandad. This place came recommended to me so I called Mike. Upon arrival I explained that I'd had conflicting information from different buyers regarding its value and carat. Mike kindly looked over the watch. He took the back off and wrote down the serial numbers, confirmed the date to be london 1979 and that it was indeed 14 carat while other buyers insisted it was 9! Mike did this as a kind gesture even though another customer waited while he did it. Superb service and proper gent.

no mike what i had intended was to send you a uk nationwide building society cheque for the cartier watch you could have then kept hold of cheque, deposit it and when you were happy that the cheque had cleared then you could have sent the watch to me , now how hard would that have been. by the way the account as its a savings account it wont allow bank transfer now thats straight forward.

He is the most knowledgeable guy in the industry and, for genuine customers, is more than willing to impart advice and expertise on, not only his own inventory, but watches in general. He is a fount of information, especially on Rolex, and a thoroughly nice guy. Highly recommended.

Small selection of well chosen stock. Prices seem about average. Mercurial owner who can pivot from obsequious to extremely rude at the slightest provocation, so your experience may vary.

RUDE!!!! AVOID!!!!!! The gentleman in the shop has an appalling manner...my husband and I had barely made it through the door (in fact I hadn’t, I was left on the steps) before he abruptly told us he couldn’t help us and that we should leave. We had a query over the authenticity of an item (which we suspected wouldn’t be authentic anyway!) however, no offer of an explanation or to help us understand what we should look for, more interested in serving someone else in his shop.Awful....IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE OR ADVICE, THEN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
