Lara Parnell Weddings

Lara was such a pleasure to work with, and she puts her heart and soul into her work.We only had 4 months to plan our wedding, and she still delivered everything we asked for sooo beautifully. She really listens to what you want and makes your day truly special. Her quality of work is outstanding and we could not be more impressed. The flowers were very elegant, stunning and fresh, and they smell amazing! She really transformed the room into something so elegant and personal.We made the right decision to have Lara decorate our special day and we cannot recommend her enough!

What can we say?! Lara went above and beyond for our special day.I knew from the moment we met that Lara was on the same page and understood our style and preferences. I had complete trust and no worries that Lara would capture us within her styling and floral displays.From the beautiful flowers to the finer details, everything was perfect. Lara is incredibly talented! We hired Lara for our wedding in September 2022 after receiving a recommendation from another wedding supplier.Lara accommodated my last minute plans and took the time to help me pad out my vague ideas and translate Pinterest photos into a harmonious theme to compliment our wedding. I was so confident by her knowledge that I went on to hire Lara to do the styling for our wedding breakfast too.Lara went above and beyond! I was completely blown away on our day and cried more at our incredible florals than I did at anything else. We received so many compliments from family and friends and will be recommending Lara forever more.

We met Lara at the Gloucestershire wedding show, and were instantly taken by her display and her approach to sustainability, which was something we wanted to achieve as part of our wedding. Through our consultations, it became clear that Lara totally understood our vision of using mostly plants and foliage, as well as sharing our passion for the whole scheme. Lara was really flexible in modifying elements to suit the budget, and also in helping us work out what we could do ourselves vs what it would be easier for her to source. On the day, Lara made our vision come to life and it was better than we could have hoped, plants and mini trees everywhere. We loved the fact that as a stylist too, she was able to provide other accessories, which made the decor even better.Our venue, Hyde House, loved the way Lara worked, and we achieved our goal of minimal waste as so many of our guests took plants home with them and nothing went in the bin! If you want a really personal touch and someone who will go above and beyond to make your vision come to life, choose Lara!!

Lara created the most BEAUTIFUL flowers for our wedding, along with a stunning table plan and welcome sign. We didn’t know what we were doing really but we gave Lara a random list of flowers we liked with an colour palette and what she created was just a dream. I literally did not want to put my bouquet down!

I will be recommending Lara to everyone going forward!Words can't describe how amazed we were with Lara throughout our wedding journey. From meeting her at the ICC, to our first and second consultations and eventually the day itself - It was a gift to work with someone who was so warm, friendly and knowledgable about Wedding design.Lara workshopped our ideas, suggested changes we could make, including things we could do to save money, and genuinely was invested in making our venue look its best.At no point during the two years we worked together did we get a sense that we were bothering Lara. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and the communication was spot on.The venue was stunning on the day, we had compliments from our guests and the venue staff throughout the ceremony and reception. From working with Lara for so long, we absolutely knew she would smash it out of the park.We would work with Lara again in a heartbeat - Thankyou for making our day amazing.

Lara did a fab job of providing flowers for not just one but two venues for our wedding! (Winterbourne Medieval Barn in Bristol and Tortworth Court).I wanted flowers in Winterbourne Medieval Barn but didn’t want to spend loads on flowers for them not to be seen after the ceremony but Lara said she could repurpose the flowers to be used at both venues (our aisle decor became centre pieces etc.!) . This was something that stood out to me. Most of the other florists I spoke too wouldn’t move the flowers between the venues, wouldn’t move the arch once assembled or wanted silly money to do it! So Lara moving the flowers was not only more sustainable but better on the budget too!Lara’s team were so quick and efficient that I didn’t see them moving the flowers - I wouldn’t be surprised if our guests thought we’d paid for separate flowers for both venues! Lara reassured us she packs spare flowers in the van so if any did get damaged in transport she’d replace them on arrival and they looked perfect in both Winterbourne medieval barn and in the Orangery.She knew I wanted to keep the flowers afterwards so made them in a way that I could take them home easily too (without compromising on how they looked)Prior to the wedding we visited Lara in her studio to see our options and finalise what we wanted, working with the colours, feel and budget.Lara kept in great contact and you could tell you were just another client, and how much she enjoys what she does and wanted to make your wedding floral dreams come true.Lara hadn’t worked at or visited Winterbourne Medieval Barn before as it’s a recently reopened venue but this was no issue and Lara helped us chose options that would compliment both the barn and Tortworth.I also hired a post box from Lara and could have hired signage, props and more - a great way to sort out those little extra bits you need without having to get in an additional styling company or purchasing them outright your self!iPhone snaps from the day

Lara is just fabulous! We met Lara at a wedding fayre in 2021 and we are so so glad that we did. From the very beginning Lara was super professional but really understood what we were hoping to achieve. She made what can be a challenge so easy and fun. We loved the wedding designing process and it was such a seamless experience. The overall look was perfect and magical, she captured all we could have wanted.
