Amazing cheese shop, a true gem of a find.I happened to be working nearby and popped in for a curious nose around, I ended up leaving with 6 cheeses, some crackers and a couple of drinks. The service is brilliant, we had a great chat about cheeses that i had tried before and was offered brilliant recommendations on new ones to try.I got to sample anything I wanted to, with great enthusiasm from the owner.I can't recommend this shop higher, I will absolutely be a repeat customer. The Cremet goats cheese is possibly the best cheese i have ever eaten, please do yourself a favour and buy some from here.

Perfect location on the way to Richmond Park. We had wonderful time and the cheese on crackers featured our picknik. Lucky to have apples with us, I disagree it would be better with tomatoes.

They have a lovely selection of British and continental cheeses. Some of them that you don't find everywhere. The gentleman who served me today was very lovely and knowledgeable!

I bought four cheeses from far flung corners of Britain, on my first visit. The products are definitely a higher price, but absolutely delicious. Two heads and both shoulders above a supermarket kept cheese. I believe its called affinage, the ripening and careful storage of cheese, well Teddington Cheese seem to have it spot on.If you are on a tight budget, take my advice, buy less cheese and really enjoy the quality, rather than buying a large chunk of supermarket blob.

I wanted to share my experience because this is by far the worst experience I've ever had, in a shop, in my life. I visited this shop a few years ago, because I was looking to buy a gift for one of my family members, who loves cheese. I figured going to a nice looking local shop, they would be able to advise me on what cheese to buy and help me to decide. Now here's where things go south. The moment I entered the shop, every single person was staring at me and my girlfriend. This was around Christmas time, so bear in mind the shop was full. We tried to ignore the staring eyes and try to find a cheese in the fridge section. In this shop there are many cheeses' placed inside an open fridge, so I assumed if you wanted to buy a particular type of cheese, you simply pick up the cheese and take it to the counter. To my shock, as soon as I picked up the cheese, I was shouted at by the staff, who told me to not pick up the cheese and to instead, tell the staff which one you would like and they would take it.As soon as the staff shouted at us, people started to again stare at us with an pretentious glare. I would like to add that both myself and my girlfriend are both brown in skin tone and there is not a doubt in my mind that the staff as well as the customers were racially discriminating against us, as if to say, Why are you here? You can't afford this cheese".Suffice to say

I came into this shop hoping for nice cheese and service.I wanted a small piece of Roquefort cheese to eat as dessert that night. I had not had Roquefort for a long time, and was really looking forward to this treat.I only asked for 100g, but the cheese was weighted with it's full packaging, which consisted on paper, foil and a card.I managed to get over this minor issue, but after I got home and opened the package I found the cheese to have gone off and had a disgusting brown tone. I have eaten Roquefort before many times, and I instantly knew that this piece is not edible. When returned to the shop about an hour later, I was told that the seller didn't remember selling me the cheese at all, and that I was lying about the purchase date.I found this to be very rude, and wanted to warn others about the low standard of service and product that this shop provides. Eating that cheese could have been seriously dangerous.
