Empress Piercing Cwmbran

Editing my previous 5 star review. I’ve had 3 piercings here now, 2 of them have been less than satisfactory but I let the first one slide. The second mess up, which really upset me and caused a great deal of additional pain is the reason for this review. Piercer gave me a small bottle of solution to say “sorry” even though I told her I didn’t need any and I just took it paid in full and left because I was so desperate to get out of there and also I realised that I wasn’t even getting a reduction in price for the shoddy service. I later emailed the owners to tell them of my experience and they brushed it off. I explained that I would like a partial refund as I don’t feel I should have been charged full price for a substandard service. More than happy to pay for the jewellery but even a small offer of a reduction on the piercing price would have been a nice gesture to show they took responsibility for the mistake. I’ve given them plenty of chances to rectify this, but they are now ignoring my emails. Left me a really unhappy customer - this is my first ever negative review.

Friendly staff who put my daughter at ease for her first piercing. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends. My daughter is already planning her next piercing.

Booked an appointment for a tragus piercing. Booked a suitable date and time for me. However, despite arriving fifteen minutes early, we were seen 15 minutes late and then advised that the £27 standard jewellery piercing we had booked for wasn’t available and instead we could either reschedule for another date and time (despite getting ourselves prepared and mentally ready for the piercing today) or pay £42 for premium jewellery. I kind of felt like this was just a way of making extra money if I’m honest.

Had the best experience at empress yesterday having my tragus re-done! Lauri was amazing and so comforting! 100% recommend to anyone

My 5 year old daughter had her ears pierced. It was a very good experience with no tears. Georgia put her at ease (& double checked it was her choice). Very professional service and ears are healing well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic service from the lovely Natasha. She explained the piercing procedure and aftercare advice beautifully and has a stunning shop and choice of jewellery! Can’t wait to come back for more in a few weeks! ❤️

I had a tragus piercing which was done by someone else , asked if they could do a jewellery change which was not a problem at all very accommodating good range of jewellery at very reasonable prices . Very helpful staff and made you feel an ease .
