One issue that some of of the higher mileage models suffer from is the automatic transmission fluid inside thegearbox can become thick/sludge and block the filter, particularly from cold start up and this can cause poor gear changingor even cause it to stick in the same gear without changing. It is very easy and inexpensive to fix just remove and replace the mesh gearbox transmission filter and replace with new auto transmission fluid, if you can clean up the electronic sensor whileyour in there that will help to. Once you have changed the fluid and filter go on YouTube and search Mercedes automatic gearboxreset" this will show you how to reset the transmission back to factory setting so the box can re-learn your driving style

Have just put a deposit on a car front this lady. She was so lovely, answered all our questions, and not a bit of pressure to buy. Car was exactly as described and can't wait for them to deliver it next week. Can not recommend this lady enough. Genuine and down to earth.I have even got a months warranty!!

Don't trust her questionable knowledge. Was told the tyres and brakes have loads of life in them by her partner, they needed replacing 3 weeks later. After about 4 weeks the gear box starts being clunky and skipping mid 1st and 2nd gear. This is still holding out but doesn't feel great, the car was advertised as immaculate. I turned up to find a car that was covered from tip to toe with micro scratches and larger ones, paint missing in chunks, fans missing from inside of the car and a bad case of laquer peel on every alloy. Now one of the injectors has gone, looking at a bill of £590 for just one, I guess the rest will follow shortly. In short, do not buy a car from this garage. They sell problem vehicles - avoid.

Wudnt buy a car from these people more like bonnie and clyde bought a so called c max off them best car ever they said !! turned out to be a taxi from wales only found out just after i sold it to sumone else its ther legal rights to tell you if its been private hire or a reps car etc but no i sold it 6 mnth later 1000 less as for my px car they used it on a daily basis and never changed onwnership for 18mnths speeding tickets parking fines any one reading this stay well clear of these people ..should be closed dwn buy trading this place CAR SHARKS and crafty with it

Good communications all along and very helpful. Purchasing a 10 year old vehicle we knew it wouldn't be perfect but the minor concerns we had were rectified before we purchased it. Love the car. Thank you!

I bought my first car from Tandy, she was lovely from the first contact and I felt I paid a really fair price for my car, it was still like new (6 years old). Looking at some of her other cars over the years you can clearly see she only deals in good quality used. 6 years later I’ve never had a failed MOT and still love to drive my beetle. Bought a car off them a year ago, car was meticulously clean, that has to be said. They were very helpful on questions however that's probably as far as it goes. She seemed keen to demonstrate how the AC was working, whilst we agreed, it wasn't ice cool.. needless to say two days later the car is idling funny. Cause: Aircon. Either I ran out of luck or they topped up the coolant in enough time where it wouldn't have all leaked by the time it sold. Car also had a blowing exhaust. If you don't ask, they won't tell you. Proceed with caution.
