Higher Mosserly Farm

We hired one of the pre-pitched tents and it was perfect - really comfortable, in a beautiful location, and so quiet and relaxing. Steve and Julie were very friendly and welcoming. We hired the solar shower with privacy tent and it was brilliant, and we paid for the log burner and logs - our fire lasted for 4 hours and it was amazing to sit by it and watch the sun go down.

Me and my brother camped in a great spot. We were led onto the field we’re my car needed a little push, Steve was happy to assist and advised of the lay of the land where we could camp. There was plenty of choice. We had a great day at the site, with our 2 x 2 man tents and a 4x4 metre tarp setup. We took a 40 min walk to the Derby arms which was worth the walk as they had a great choice of beers. We sat out in the beer back beer garden with views over the hills and fields. We had ordered a firepit and firewood which was £17.50 however the firepit, fire starting set and logs lasted over 4 hours whilst we enjoyed the night sky. Excellent spot to look at the stars and truly relax. Facilities are basic but nicely done. The toilets are great, very clean and plenty of toilet roll, hand towels and hand soap. No permanent shower but they apparently hire portable shower tents… lovely owners and well communicated throughout the booking process. Definitely going back, recommend.

Went camping here this weekend and absolutely loved it. The views are stunning - views over the hills and the sunset was phenomenal. The surrounding area is so picturesque, beautiful little village. The onsite bathroom/toilet is great too. The hosts are lovely people, really friendly. Can't wait to return, will definitely stay the full weekend next time!
