Good car park to use for exploring waresley woods. Free parking. No public amenities and no dog poo bin. Bags need to be taken with you.

Signs telling you to pick up after your dog but they don't provide bins to dispose of the bag afterwards?!Nice walk and woods apart from that.

Perfect place to wander around in beautiful setting. April and May there is a spectacular carpet of bluebells throughout much of the woodland

It's a nice walk from here to the woods, but be aware that the car park is unmade and has large holes near the entrance. Fine for a normal car but if you have anything with low suspension etc. then it might be risky!

Poorly maintained car park but I guess it gets lots of use. A few people had parked across gateways off the road instead. Access to wood was closed which wasn't mentioned on the wildlife trust website until after we had visited. Sadly access to the public footpath around the wood was also blocked which was clearly a disappointment for many families getting out to avoid covid.
