Telephoned Monday am as daughters car front tyre had low pressure. I explained i thought it was a slow puncture. As regular customers had previous repair to that tyre there before. Said couldnt fit me in until Wednesday. I explained it would cost in ubers to and from work. Not interested. Customer service has gone down the pan since taken over by Halfords. Gave 5 star review 4yrs ago. How things change. Did me a favour really took car to Talbot road as recommended by a friend- Trafford mot centre. Was in and out and much cheaper than here too. Much more friendly and knowledgable too. Was back home less than half hour. Did it while I waited and saved my daughter all those taxi fares to and from work!

Good guys! Really helpful and professional. Turned up today needing two new front tyres but was in a rush due to work pressure. Fitted both as quickly as they could and had me on my way as quickly as possible. 45 mins from arriving to leaving.

beware of these people..... went for my car alignment, said we can do right now after that while going back felt steering slightly heavy and and balanced as well.was late so went next day they been doing nothing and lady our there refused at first that this is anything to do with alignment with very very rude attitude... I felt really uncomfortable first with her attitude then i told steering was totally soft before alignment so any of your staff can check again if anything is missing then she said we are busy cant check right now come back later, i asked when she said nothing …..one of the worst customer service i have ever experienced . will definitely not go back money is wasted and don't know how much to pay again to sort this issue.

My car recently had an emergency issue with the brakes and National Tyres Urmston responded immediately to help get both the problem fixed and tyres checked and changed - Steve and Ann Marie are always particularly helpful and accommodating even when very busy - I use them for all our car repairs services and Mots (using bathe vouchers) - trustworthy and highly recommended - thank you

My car went to this garage for front suspension spring replacement.On collection I was told they had destroyed my locking wheel nut key and nut and that I need to go to BMW for a replacement. I was told a spare bolt had been fitted in place of the destroyed one.On driving away I found my steering wheel juddering so pulled over and found 1 wheel nut on a wheel the garage had taken off was only finger tight and I could remove it with my fingers. I returned to the garage and they said they were aware the wheel nut was only finger tight as they couldn't tighten it when they refitted the wheel. I also found damage to my alloy wheel caused by the mechanic destroying my locking wheel nut.I complained to Halfords and asked them to reimburse me for the £60 BMW charged for new locking wheel nut set. I also asked for compensation for the damage they had caused to my alloy wheel so I could get it repaired. Halfords replied and said my case would be passed to management. I heard nothing since except a £60 refund appeared from Halfords which I presume is for the wheel nuts?I complained again to Halfords and have been told they will not be offering me compensation for the damage they did to my alloy wheel.It is completely unacceptable that this company thinks it’s acceptable to damage customers property and not be held accountable. The fact they sent a £60 refund for the wheel nuts with no word is an admission of guilt and I will not be treated like this. I complained on Trust Pilot and was told by Ruth on 6th October that my complaint would be passed to a 'specialist' but I've still heard nothing.I've had a quote for £162 to repair the damage caused to my alloy wheel and I won't rest until I receive this.Case: 21114946

Reasonable service, but tried to up-sell me tracking on two wheels I can clearly see (and feel) don't need it. Also, had a wheel that needed swapping for the spare, they tried to charge me £15 to spin 5 nuts twice... Unacceptable practices - they should focus on doing what's right for the customer, not their bottom line.

Very poor service and knowledge from MOT tester. He refused to MOT my BMW Alpina saying it is an illegal vehicle because it has 2 VIN numbers. I rang DVSA who confirmed that my vehicle is allowed 2 VINs and Gov.co.uk website confirms that BMW Alpinas can have 2 VINS. Needs to update his knowledge regarding MOT guidelines.
