My daughter has attended York stage for over a year. From the very first class, I’ve seen her confidence grow & she has so much fun! She’s so inspired by the teachers & has formed a lovely relationship with them & the other children. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Vibrant and inclusive environment where my daughter has loved exploring different areas of the performing arts. Supportive, enthusiastic, professional staff. The productions and songs seem carefully chosen by the staff to suit a range of ages.

Our daughter has loved being a part of York Stage for around a year now. In that time she has grown in confidence and has had fantastic opportunites and experiences. Saturday mornings are a pure joy for her and we are excited to watch her progress more in the next few years.

My daughter has been attending York Stage School for the past 2.5 years and absolutely loves it. She has learnt so much, grown in confidence and had so many opportunities. We tried a few others before we found York Stage and now I feel we have found exactly what we were looking for. The teachers are brilliant, provide so much expertise and encouragement. The quality of the the teaching and what the kids produce is head and shoulders above anything she did before. It feels like you are a part of a family and the work put in over lockdown was unreal.

Both of my daughters go to York Stage School and they absolutely love it. Their confidence has improved hugely and they've had wonderful opportunities through this school. They come bouncing out every week full of enthusiasm. Highly recommend this place!

Izzy has just started at York Stage School but came skipping out after the first week and did an impromptu performance with her friend. Izzy can at times be shy so this was lovely to see. She came out of the second week saying it was even better than the first week! She enjoys the variety of activities and clearly felt right at home. I’ve been impressed by quick responses and friendly communication over email and in person. Really glad we signed her up!

Great staff and atmosphere, well organised, professional end of term shows and most importantly of all, my daughter is enjoying herself. Excellent, thank you!!!

We have been going to Yorkie Puds baby group, it is so lovely! Fantastic staff, create a fab atmosphere, make you feel so welcome. Would highly recommend!

We looked around a few stage schools before going with York Stage. Other large ‘chain’ stage schools had large classes, seemed disorganised and my child would have been just one of many. York Stage was recommended to me as something different. An independent with a real interest in bringing the best out of your child. We’ve been going nearly 2 years now and I must say my child has had the best time! He has so much fun, but has also learnt so much from industry professionals in small classes. I can’t thank Nik, Jo, Danielle and Jessica enough for all they did over lockdown - their efforts were far beyond anything any other club offered - it really helped us great through some tough times. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend York Stage to anyone with a child with an interest in performing, acting and dancing!
