Snug Heating. Plumbing, Heating and Electrical

Unfortunately my experience with Mike  was not very pleasant. Mike came out on a Sunday to fix my Rayburn with guests in my holiday let. Firstly he would not start work until myself or my partner was present which we both thought was strange but went along with it.Mike got it going for a while but it stopped again the next day. In the meantime I paid Mike £135. Mike came back and fitted a thermostat which he said would solve the problem with the Rayburn.I informed Mike that the Rayburn had stopped working again and he became quite unpleasant asking for payment and insulting us saying if we can’t afford his services let him know as he bends over backwards for those that can pay. He kept insinuating that we could not or would not pay him as others has not paid him in the past.He asked for another £135 although admitting that he had made a mistake and that the thermostat was not the problem.Mike did not fix our Rayburn as he seemed to want to keep trying different processes of elimination and charge me for his mistakes.After a few back and forth text messages Mike eventually cancelled the second invoice.For me quite a strange and unprofessional experience. All would be ok if you are prepared to pay endless amounts of money until he eventually addresses the real problem.Would not recommend!

We have used Snug Heating on several occasions since we moved to our current property. He has undertaken several different jobs, all of which have been very successfully completed. Mike has always been very helpful in offering advice before starting a job, giving us options and listening to our needs.

Absolutely delighted with multi fuel burner. Not a straightforward installation - fireplace had been closed up, chimney stack removed and chimney was curved. The results were fantastic - Mike did a professional, excellent job. Mike also repaired our electric central heating system - and advised on how to get the best use. Would highly recommend Mike.

Mike recently fitted an electric shower and cubicle, tiling to match existing tiles and also fitted two outside taps at our property and carried out a boiler service. We were delighted by his prompt attention and fair pricing. Mike carried out works in agreed time and was friendly and efficient.He left all areas clean and tidy.We were delighted with his work and would highly recommend him to others. Mike has been reliably servicing our boiler for some time. He has always provided an excellent prompt service. Recently when the system had been mullered by another so called engineer (sent by management agents) - Mike took over after it was obvious that the other so-called boiler engineer didn’t have a clue - and sorted out all the issues. Thanks again, as usual.

Mike has been great over the last couple of years with various breakdowns and a new heating installation. Now have very efficient and hot system.

Reliable and professional, Mike fitted our new oil central heating system and we were so impressed we asked him to fit a new log burner too! He even accompanied us to the showroom to help and advise on our choice of burner and then tiled our fireplace to set it off. Would highly recommend. Thanks Mike!

Superb renovation of my 30amp Electric AGA here in South Lakeland! Mike even had the electric heating elements in stock to put straight in. It took him three days from my call to completion. Top marks!

Mike installed our stove two weeks earlier than planned thanks to a cancellation which was great. We are very happy with the work that he has carried out and our stove looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone looking for someone to install their stove!
