Kwik Fit - Harrogate

Josh at your Harrogate branch dealt with my vehicleBooked in for a wheel change as came back from holiday to my car having a flat tyre having been on my drive for two weeks, called and was told a need two new tyres fine.Picked the vehicle up took straight back home and left on the drive. Monday morning on my way to work I noticed there had been a scratch on my rear bumper which wasn’t there when I took my car in which is very frustrating, not only that but the tyres that were fitted were under inflated as my warning light had come on. All four of my tires were different pressures and the various checks your team Should of undertaken hadn’t been done.I asked Josh for the cctv you have for the scratch on my vehicle and was told you don’t have cctv in the workshop which I know isn’t true as you need it for health and safety.Overall extremely unhappy

Very helpful advice on whether our car needed new tyres. Kwik Fit put our car on a ramp for inspection. This was thorough and informative and delivered with a smile. Excellent service and this inspection was free. Kwik Fit deserves our future business. Thank you.

All seemed an easy straight forward tyre replacement. Disappointed the puncture couldn’t be repaired.When I got home I noticed dirty marks on the centre armrest and the drivers door handle.The tyre pressure was also very high compared to the other three and nowhere near the manufacturer’s recommended pressure.No attention to detail whatsoever.

The man who booked us in was the rudest and most unhelpful man I have met in a longtime. As a woman with a child with an urgent repair I felt very vulnerable and if I had a choice of going elsewhere I would but I was forced to stay and not respond as I feel he was close to not helping and I needed the repair. He was not there when I returned or I would have spoken to him about his attitude.

Car failed it’s MOT, no issue with that, however I was informed the failure reason can’t be fixed at Kwik fit so I should collect the car. When arriving at the local garage I was advised the car was in a dangerous condition, the steering rack bolt fell off in the mechanics hand and the steering could have disconnected at any point when driving.When explained to the Kwik fit “technician” their explanation was that the mot report stated there was play in the steering rack so “how do we know what the problem is.” Complete lack of basic consideration for safety nevermind the actual work that is carried out. The person could not care less and was quite happy to shift any responsibility away from the centre, despite carrying out the MOT.

Paperwork left in car with no explanation of what it is. Seat cover still left on seat.The quote for the new tyres doesn't include all the 'extras' and i'm not sure my definition of 'express' fit meets their definition of 'express', but like Ryanair, i'll use them again, as a fraction of the price for new tyres vs dealership prices.

Everyone was friendly and did their best to help me. My car suddenly had a fault so I was a drop in. I explained I needed to get back home quickly (I’m not from Harrogate) to be able to pick up my daughter from nursery. They quickly sourced the part and fixed it so I could get going.

All done in good time.Lacking 5 star due to grease on steering wheel. Likely from mechanics hands. Could do with wiping the wheel etc after use.Seats were covered and clean

I heard a rattling noise coming from under my car. I rang up at nearly closing time & was able to pop in without an appointment. The team were attentive, knowledgeable & able to solve my problem in less than 10 mins!Harrogate KwikFit is my go-to garage for MOT and servicing & I know they are very reliable. Thanks John and team
