We pop by to have lunch a few times a month. We used to then browse the shop an invariably spent £20 to £30 or more on plants etc. The music is now so loud and dissonant that the shopping experience has been ruined and we no longer potter around, we just leave after the meal.The new staff could also perhaps get better training in food presentation rather than sprinkle the vegetables over the chips.

Lovely spread out tables in the extension where you can take your dog.Big slow queue to be served. Not enough staff on.Cappuccino was average but cakes were wonderfully fresh.Expensive

Popped in for a quick lunch break. Just after 12:00 so fairly quiet. Hot and cold food displays all looked very tempting.Had the Tuna Baguette + lots of salad, tasty and fair value.

Thought we would go to Dobbies for some lunch and a look round for some Christmas presents.The only advice I can give is if you go into the cafe for a hot meal think twice. By the time you have been given the meal, queued up for painfully slow coffee service then queued up at the painfully slow till to pay and then got to a table the hot food is hot no longer..!! OK if you like cold food but dreadful if you expected a hot lunch.

I love visiting this store but when I tried to take my friend who needs a wheelchair for her first ever visit we were left bitterly disappointed. My friend needs a mobility scooter to get about and I knew dobbies had wheelchairs so i thought it would be a nice rare day out for her. Unfortunately, the only wheelchairs available were not fit for purpose, they would be fine for a child or a small person but totally unusable for a taller or larger person. Asked at customer services but none other sizes available so I fortunately we had no other option but to leave and return home. My friend left feeling embarrassed and upset.

When buying hot food you have to stand in a long queue for ages waiting for teas & coffees, and as a result the food is cold by the time you have waited, gone to the pay desk & then find a seat/table. Everyone complains about this...there must be a better way of setting up the hot food service.I wanted macaroni & cheese which comes with garlic bread & salad (strange combo.) I asked if I could substitute these items for a few chips instead...the answer...we can leave the garlic bread & salad off, but you'll have to pay extra for the chips...unbelievable!

Very cold self-service restaurant. The cutlery and teacups were grubby, and there was only one young lad serving at a very busy till. There was also a dog barking continuously in the dog friendly area. Altogether an unpleasant experience.

Says 20% of with Dobbies card but you have to pay £15 a year for the card to be valid. Most things are over priced. Shop was a bit messy and we waited 10 mins at customer service for an employee to even appear. 3* because the breakfasts are good.

Great place for a browse on a cold wintery day, always find something different here.Christmas display still getting set up, so will go back in a few weeks to see the finished article.Great selection of gardening tools and equipment, and seasonal products.
