Village Gym Bracknell

Great wine and cheese night, Michaela was very great at hosting our table.

The gym facilities are superb, however the gym is sadly let down by several issues. Dirty changing rooms, locker that are out of action through one reason or another. No fresh water / tap pool side. Members forgetting their water bottles and drinking directly from the water taps, which I have reported several times (Hep B, colds & flu / Covid) Parking is a massive issue, especially around early evening.staff that really couldn’t give a stuff about anything, who are unhelpful or just rude. Thankfully there are a couple who do care. I am seriously considering moving upon my contract ending. It could be so much better with a few areas of improvement such as staff training & cleaning. Showing around potential new members appears to be the main focus. However you’ll probably need these new members to fill the void by members not renewing their membership. Fingers crossed that these area will be addressed as the gym is ideally located and has had investment in the gym. I will be watching and making my mind up over the next few months.

The gym has good and new equipment. The steam room is warm, could be much hotter. The place (steam room and pool area) does not seem to be cleaned regularly or thoroughly enough.Staff are always helpful there.

The Gym has excellent facilities, staff are really friendly but it's just too busy... If you enjoy Swimming, this is not the Gym for you... The Pool area is constantly Rammed.

Lovely Spa pool, swimming pool could be a little warmer. Sauna and steam just right, nice and warm.Gym can't be faulted. Every available machine you could think of and all brand new techno gym equipment. All working well.Free parking too on weekends. Not sure during the week.

Gym itself has good equipment that is in ok condition. As with all gyms it does get busy at peak times; if you go on a weekday evening be prepared to wait for equipment. I've had to just give up and go home on several occasions.Toilets/ changing rooms are shared with pool users and as a result are often an absolute mess. Gym itself is also dusty and clearly isn't cleaned properly. The gym lockers are disgusting by the way. In addition, I pay for a membership that includes use of pool etc, but I don't use it - should be an option to have a cheaper membership that excludes use of pool. As such I think my price is too high for the benefits provided. Finally, the rules on the gym floor seem to vary depending on who is working i.e. some staff don't care if you have bags, another member will tell you to put away. Very frustrating to be treated differently in this manner.

As a Gym member the place is going down as there is so much staff turnover ( you never see the same person twice ) The cleanliness could be improved the lockers are never cleaned and there is always something breaking down . The Bar is great again the cleanliness could be improved ( menus are filthy sometimes with grease and sauces ) it seems no one gives a damn.

This place is pretty damn good! Especially for a commercial public gym. Granted I was staying at the hotel; but the equipment is top notch! Excellent weights section on par with most private and specialised gyms with a large matted area too. Big space and big variety. Add in the pool and you’re onto a winner. Frustrating that some people still leave their weights on that bars though. Shameful behaviour. Not the gyms fault but maybe some tighter reminders to those offenders. Other than that all good!

Did stay in the hotel and I had free pass to the gym, Really good gym with new equipment, love it!!! Will be back to this hotel only becouse of the Gym. This new system on the equipment with monitors that's tell you how many rep's and how many kg you lift looks cool.

I recently signed up to the gym facilities at the village, and I’m impressed! It’s very clean and still has that new feel. I’m newer to the gym and came on a tour with Arron who was very supportive and explained everything to me as well as broke down membership costs. 10/10 gym! I have really been enjoying the gym along with my friend who also signed up at the same time as me with Arron! :)
