Always lovely and affordable, staff can sometimes mishear your order so always worth checking what you get but the quality makes up for it.

The food was horrible, everything was supposed to be in somw kind of sauce, but it was in soup, literally soup and the taste was unforgettable, was awful. I have paid 25£ and it was a disappointment, I shouldn't had buy anything. Without mentioning that the waiter was watching tv and I tried for 5 minutes to talk with him but he wouldn't listen to me until I almost scream.

The best Chinese by far... Delicious food, generous portions. I will always order from hel yen. Will definitely recommend.

Pretty decent Chinese takeaway only one in the town. Good value and decent sized portions. They do deliver also and only take cash

As I haven't had a meal from here for years I thought I would give it a try. Although the delivery took an hour, was very expensive and had to pay by cash, I was impressed. The portions are huge, and tasted delicious, will feed a family of 5 on what I ordered. Will definitely order again

I haven’t been for years as the last two I had were disgusting, I thought the place must of changed over the years but how wrong was I….. the food was like eating a bowl of wet soggy rice with tinned wet soggy mushroom. Disgusting tasteless… well deserved one rating.

Shame there isn’t a 0 star rating. The order was wrong, the food looked and tasted awful. Honestly just go elsewhere for your own sake and don’t waste your money.

Hands down the best Chinese this side of East Midlands. I wish they delivered to ashby de la zouch!King prawn curry, special chow main, hel yen special fried rice, spicy chips.10/10Cash only .
