Genuine five star campsite.Fantastic location: beach and pubs on the doorstep, hikes and cycling everywhere around. Beautiful view from the site.Excellent facilities: friendly owner. Quality, clean facilities. Split rubbish bins for recycling. Warm showers at all hours. Reasonable price.Definitely recommend.

What a fantastic location, lovely site, great clean amenities and just a short walk to the parrog or Newport. Definitely returning.

This is a nice site with good sized pitches and nicely presented. Nice showers and very clean toilet/cleaning facilities which was a must as it was not especially cheap to stay here. Hand basins in the toilets are too small to be of any use however. Bin area needs to be larger to cater for when the site is full although they were emptied at the end of each day. Welcome on arrival was ok, very formal and not warm at all. I would say the site is dog tolerant rather than dog friendly. There are signs saying no exercising of dogs on the site or the adjacent fields, despite there being plenty of space. Too many rules plastered on notice boards and around the site for our own liking. Easy access to the town and a beach area with a great fish and chip place (the scampi was amazing) although the hill is quite challenging on the way back. Lovely views of the beaches from the site.

This was our very first campsite experience as we've only ever done hotels (snobs). Don't yet have anything to compare, Thought it was a nice site. Facilities ok. Views ok, hedge is a bit too high. Hardly anyone there despite being August which I liked. Well lit main walk from town after the pub. Newport is a lovely Town.
