Lovely family vibe. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. It felt like I was staying at a home not a hostel. Kitchen was clean, free breakfast hd plenty of options, and living room felt lovely and homely. Highly recommended!

Lovely place. Has an incredible ‘home’ vibe to it. The owner is so sweet and really tries her best to ensure her guests are pleased. I shared a private room with my mum, so I don’t know what the dorm rooms are like, but the place itself was very clean and comfortable. There weren’t many people here, so I’m not sure about meeting other travelers, but it was only day two of it being open when I arrived. I recommend. :)

Just stayed at the Fairman House last night, I honestly have to say that I have never felt as welcome as I have here, beautiful and very clean accommodation..Stella your a gem enjoyed every moment of our stay with you..Can't wait to come back..

Fairman House Backpackers Hostel
Stef and Liam were the best hosts I ever had. The house is clean and organized, the kitchen is available to prepare your meal and the breakfast is really good! She's also worried about the customers, giving them all the tourist information. The hostel is really convenient close to Tesco and it's not so far from Free Derry Corner, city centre and walled city.

Clean and nice kitchen and bathrooms. Location a bit out of the way. Owner a bit standoffish, but she looked tired so maybe she just had a long day. Eggs included in breakfast, which was nice. Comfy beds. Quiet atmosphere. Kind of felt like I had to tiptoe around, though.

Fairman House Backpackers Hostel
The rooms were nice, as was the atmosphere. It had free breakfast which was nice, but it was more of a do it yourself deal. They left out supplies and you do the rest. The girl who showed us around was friendly, and I didn't feel rushed out the following morning. I would definitely stay again. It was a bit of a walk to the city center, but not more than 15 minutes.
