Fabulous work at a very fair price. I have used Peter for the last 35 years and not only is his work fabulous but he is a true gentleman. Having found him all those years ago we have used a couple of other people, when he has been too busy to fit us in with our preferred timescales, and I can hand on heart say that the quality of those jobs did not even compare. We received detailed quotes for the work and we were kept informed of progress. We hope to keep using Peter as long as he continues doing his excellent craftsmanship.

I would honestly advise anyone to avoid this furniture restorer. Not only does he charge extremely inflated prices, but the work done is of very poor quality. We've since found a restorer who charges half as much for far more cafeful workmanship.

This restorer who is perfectly capable of good work is also very good at extracting maximum money for minimum effort if younarcsill enough not to get a detailed quote in writing with a specification of work and materials to be used Luke's to use wax instead of wood when replacing inlay even on Fire screens. Very greedy man will hold your voids to ransome till he e tracts from you a man who is totally unaware of decent fairness to others whilst he expects it for himself usual,y wants the value of your goods for the work he has done some would call him greedy his attitude can change from all smiles all over you like syrup one moment to snarling nastiness in an instant once you make it clear that you are not a soft touch a man of poor attitude ignorant background and with a thin veneer of respectability.Bot a pleasant experience.
