Amazing and easy. Paid and checked in online. On arrival was a quick id check and handed key, quick video of the van and off i went. On return was quick video and picture of mileage/fuel and all done. Hassle free and fantastic price. Definitely will use in the future.

Absolutely! Appalling, the company took the payment for the rental van on the day of taking it which is how they should and then outre deposit. They took the payment again and tried to deny it. They're absolutely disgusting. They don't explain anything properly. My voice is never uses company again as I do not care about their customers

Order confirmed and money taken out of account. On the way to collect and told that no cars were available. Then told by email that it’s my fault for not ordering 72 hours to a week before needing. My car had broken down and in an already stressful situation. Disgraceful customer service.

Car was left on my drive for 6 days extra. Would have been longer if i didnt constanlty chase. Basingstoke branch don't answer their phone either. Barely acknowledged it was their fault.Pathetic

Before I hired a car from Europecar I read the reviews and if I'm honest wasn't sure what to expect. However from a personal perspective I've had nothing but really great service from start to finish. During collection I was greeted by a friendly lady and she clearly articulated all the things I need to know. During the hire I needed to extend for another day and again the Basingstoke office advisor was brill and sorted this for me with no issues. Lastly to dropping the car back off, Steve and Gary were extremely nice, helpful and went above and beyond to my expectations. Wish I'd taken everyone's names but I dealt with 4 different people during the process and they were all friendly, helpful and I will definitely use this office again.

I reserved and paid online for a car and was given a van ; which I had to return earlier as it was not fit for purpose and now demanding for a refund; Europcar Basingstoke has a large pool of unserviceable vehicles in their pool ; about two other customers came in complaining about similar issue
