Freedom Phones

Asked for phone screen to be repaired at it was cracked. My son had to tell them whilst we were there that the new screen wasn't fitted properly. Thought all was done. Less than two months later the screen was ghost typing and has now popped out. Took to my local shop and was told it wasn't a genuine part so was never going to stay in place. Ordered new genuine part from local shop for the same price charged at this place.I didn't realise that the screens replaced are not genuine and was not warned of the problems that after market screens had.If it was local I would have returned for refund.

My partner brought his phone in to have the smashed screen repaired/replaced in April. He’d contacted the shop ahead of time to get a quote for the repair and was told it would be £90 and in the end he was charged £120 upon collection of the “repaired” phone. Immediately after we collected the device we noticed the screen has patches that would squeak when we put light pressure with typing, this developed into the phone typing and the screen turning on and off on its own which then led to the screen not responding at all to touch. We took it back in and asked if the man who did the repair could look at it again to see what had happened as, even with a smashed screen, the phone was perfectly functioning before the repair. He told us that it was a motherboard issue and was very dismissive and rude when we confronted him that prior to the repair there were no issues besides the cracked screen. We then sent the phone to Samsung to have it looked at and repaired again, to which he has now been quoted £309 for a new screen, motherboard and battery as the screen installed by Freedom Phones was fake and tampered with the phones internal parts.

Unprofessional service, second rate parts:Freedom phones replaced my screen with an inferior product which caused overheating, freezing, poor colour matching and extremely fast battery degradation.When I returned the phone I was met with a torrent of disagreement: i was told I didn’t know what I was talking about, it was a motherboard issue and I had dropped it and broken it. I was forced to demand a refund, he agreed however told me to return in an hr… I remained in store and the handset was back to its original state in 10mins.I went a few doors down to Street Cellular and had my screen replaced - the phone now works perfectly.

My experience was good, I took my phone in because it stopped charging,£15 and it was fixed. I had to leave my phone for 15 minutes and if he could not fix it there would be no charge wich is great because usually you'd be charged before you left it. Shop items abit pricey but my time there was good, hope yours is Too.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would! I called ahead and booked to have my phone repaired for a broken screen, I was quoted £90 on the phone and was charged £120 in person! My phone then began to freeze, ghost text, turn itself on and off and then one day after an update, it stopped working entirely. When I mentioned this in store to this man working there, I was instantly shut down, he would not help me ajd would not take any responsibility for what he had done to my phone. Nowafter having Samsung look into my phone, it is going to cost me £309 as HE USED A FAKE SCREEN WHICH HAS RUINED MY MOTHERBOARD. I want this money back, I will be pushing for this to be fixed, do not go here if you want your devices to be fixed properly!

Very very helpful been there a few times to get USB ports replaced very decent prices would recommend going there for anything phone related

This man is an absolute legend. He took the time out of his day to explain to me how to repair my phone and the dangers. My charging socket was full of gunk and he had the perfect tools and didn’t even charge me. What a kind person, my phone now charges properly. I really appreciate the help man. This is a great place to go for phone stuff :)

Thanks for the top service fitting my screen protector nice and friendly highly recommend il be back again in the future went to buy a tripod there too but wouldn't fit my phone and instead of getting a sell he told me it wouldn't fit my phone so would be a waste of money which I appreciate top service..
