My partner and I visited Burrito Mex this evening. We decided to order the large loaded nachos, which had a clear price label on the sign along with a list of included ingredients. To our surprise, we were charged £12 for what turned out to be a rather small portion of nachos, cheese, salsa, and jalapeños with a small scoop of guacamole. When I questioned the overcharge, the staff appeared dismissive, almost as if they had been caught in the act, and attempted to justify it by claiming an extra charge for guacamole, even though it was clearly stated on the board and included in the already high price. Caution is advised.

I walk in and was greeted by a friendly face. Always good start.The food is what you would expect from a burrito outlet. The quality was decent for what it is. Good size to price ratio.I went in when it was very quiet, it had just opened up for the day. So it was clean but I get the impression this is a well kept place.

Very friendly service.. staff was really kind and prepared everything carefully. The portions were larger than expected. Steak quesadilla was particularly delicious along with fresh squeezed lemonade!

Truly a great experience, a very comfortable space with authentic Mexican food. Hand made to order burritos tacos and bowls. I really enjoyed my shrimp taco and the prices are great to.

Visited for the first time for a quick bite and the food was delicious! Amazing service by Faizaan and the team :)Would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for a good halal option around Clapham South!

This restaurant opened a few months ago and I've been meaning to try it for a while. There's a seating area which looks nice and the place is well-decorated. I had a takeaway chicken quesadilla and skin-on fries and the food was freshly prepared in front of me. There was a good portion of chicken and cheese in my meal but unfortunately, it tasted pretty bland. All I could detect was a hint of chilli heat and nothing else - no coriander, paprika or cumin flavours coming through. At £12.50 for a large quesadilla plus £2 extra for the chips, I expected better. To be honest, I think Taco Bell is better, for half the price. To make matters worse, a few hours later, I experienced awful diarrhoea, so I definitely won't be eating here again. I had noticed that the server kept on the same pair of gloves whilst preparing the food and then using the till and I suspect this may be the source of the bacteria that gave me the runs. It could also be due to the salad vegetables used in the quesadilla, as I've no idea how long ago they'd been prepared.

Absolute gem this place is great the food is amazing normally I steer away from quacamole but there's is lovely great food great service definitely recommended trying it we will definitely be back again

Had an amazing time and dinner here. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and the service was great!The food was delicious, especially the chicken quesadilla.Can’t wait to go back x
